    On 10/13/2023 my husband and I contracted G**** Horizons to build a gable roof over my existing concrete patio and to completely finish this with matching siding, matching roof shingles and to finish it to look like the front of my house. We paid him half down (per his contract) which was $9,516.75. Bradley G**** (owner) was to pull all building permits necessary and to contact and get permission from our HOA. After a week or so his crew came and framed a structure and never came back to complete. Bradley G**** kept hounding my husband for the rest of the money saying he needed to buy more materials and to pay his crew. We then paid $8,500.00 cash which Bradley G**** insisted on so he didn't have to wait for a check to clear. He then came back and insisted on the rest of the money to be able to finish the job and again we paid him cash in the amount of $1,420.00. So in total we have now paid $19,436.75. His crew has never returned to finish the job. After weeks and weeks of texting and calling we threatened him with filing complaint with ******** ********  He claimed he had covid and couldn't work and please be patient (this was 4 weeks later). He promised his crew would finish on Tuesday 12/5/2023 and Wednesday 12/6/2023. No shows again and he won't reply to texts or phone calls. We told him we have another crew to put shingles on roof because winter is coming and this wood structure needs protection. We begged for a reply on if he was going to do it. Nothing. I found out last week that he didn't apply for any permits. I also found out he owned a previous company named Columbus Property Renovations and saw that he has done the same thing to other people. They start a job, get the money and never finishes the job. Then he ghosts the person. I want others to know about his dirty business tactics.
