I booked an apt with Alexis through her booking link made a deposit. I then showed up to my apt waited 20 minutes and she wasn’t there so I called her twice and text her twice all to get an answer 6 hours later stating her daughter was in the hospital and could we reschedule. We then reschedule, the next apt date she did the same thing, now claiming she was in the hospital we reschedule a third time and she asked me to send her the remaining balance as the only free day I had was on one of her scheduled off day. She never showed up to the apt and it has now been over a month and she won’t and hasn’t refunded my money. She’s a scam and has been giving me the run around to refund me.

On May 20th I made a lash appointment at Baxter Beauty Bar with Alexis Baxter. After my initial appointment, I had returned for lash fill appointments 2 or 3 times. Alexis was late to every appointment that I had. At one appointment I was waiting for over 20 minutes on her to show up. She would also ask me to come in earlier or later than my scheduled appointment time that way she “didn’t have gaps in her day”. I was fine with it and I tried my best to accomodate that if I could. On June 29th I texted her saying that I needed to cancel my July 1st appointment. When you hit “cancel appointment” on her website, it tells you to text her personal number. I got no response. On July 11th at 4:05am I received a message from her automated system letting me know that my appointment for July 11th at 5pm was confirmed. I NEVER MADE AN APPOINTMENT for July 11th. After receiving the text stating that my appointment was confirmed, I texted her at 4:45am saying that I needed to cancel the appointment. I thought maybe she made me an appointment by accident. This morning on July 12th, my husband checked our bank account and noticed that there were 2 charges for $100 from Baxter Beauty Bar. We were charged $200. I texted her asking why we were charged $200 for cancelling an appointment that I NEVER set up. Again, I got no response. I called her once to try and get an explanation and my call was forwarded to voicemail. I then texted her at 2:50pm today (July 12th) stating that the money needed to be refunded. It is clear that she created a FAKE APPOINTMENT just to cancel it and charge me $100. On top of setting up a fake appointment she ran the card not once but TWICE. Her cancellation policy states you have to cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to your appointment time in order to not be charged the full amount of the service. It is impossible for me to cancel an appointment that I had didn’t set up, especially when she made it for the same day. That is not a 24 hour window.
