    I took a signed collectibe Wyland lithograph to Akrona to be matted and framed in Oct-Nov. I picked it up December 2021. My son was supposed to come up that Christmas but came down with COVID so we canceled Christmas. The matting looked good so I put it in a big box to store until he could come up. I believe the cost to frame this was over $400. **** came up in October 2022 and I gave him the painting. At that point it looked fine. He transported it via his SUV, laying flat in the box in his SUB, to his home in ************ **. **** took it out of the box, to hang, a few days later. It had come unmatted and the picture had come loose. **** sent me pictures. I called Akrona, *******, and sent her an email with pictures. She said sometimes the tape can be defective. Since he lives down South I asked her to find a gallery to fix it. She did call a gallery and they never returned her call. I also called and they never returned my call. So **** found a gallery close by and got an estimate of around $40-48 to remount it properly. He left it at the gallery and picked it up about 1.5-2months later, when it had been repaired. I sent the email with the pictures of painting and the bill **** incurred and had paid the gallery. All of this time I kept in contact with *******, the owner of Akrona either via email or phone calls. I called again December 9th and spoke to *******. I asked her again if she had read the email and invoice to reimburse ****. She said she doesn't check her emails and was busy. Mind you that is the business email all correspondence was sent to. She said she would check her email. It is now January 8 and no attempt has been made to reimburse my son. I have had many paintings framed and matted by other galleries and have never seen them come loose. I want her to reimburse my son. The gallery has the wrong address on his invoice. Correct is **** ******* *** ******* **** ***** ************ ** *****
