5/16/2024. We were purchasing a vehicle that we were told had a brand new long block motor WITH PAPERWORK. There were 2 different Facebook listings for this vehicle with 2 different descriptions & 2 different price points by the owners of the company. We confirmed that it was in fact a brand new long block & that it came with paperwork to prove it before seeing the vehicle & multiple times after. Mike the owner also told us that the previous owner of the car bought the motor online & that it still had a warranty & that he would personally honor it so we didn't have to deal with an online company incase anything went wrong (we did receive a 1 year warranty)On the day of purchase the main business owner, Mike, we were supposed to meet with who said they would have paperwork ready & who also showed us the vehicle to begin with, said he had an emergency & would not make it for our appointment to purchase the vehicle so we had to meet with the co owner, Gabe, of the company & he would provide us with the paperwork asap. AFTER we purchased the vehicle, the co owner proceeded to tells us that he believed the motor was USED with over 60k miles on it. After almost 2 weeks of being told they had to "find the paperwork" i took it upon myself to message the previous owner & found out that the motor was never purchased new online. it was used from a junk yard with 70k+ miles on it PLUS close to ANOTHER 40k that the previous owner put on the motor himself (which the odometer did not read correctly) we have texts & receipts to prove the above.
Fastworded through months of problems with the car, it went into the shop on 5/8/25 (within warranty) with our dashcam. It caught videos of them stating we need a new engine & for them to “not tell me”. It also states in full detail how they in quote “bandaid” blown engines & still sell them to get them off the lot asap for whoever falls for it.

We had an appointment with Dialed In Performance on September 18th 2023 for our 1993 Honda Accord. It was for a blown fuse car wouldnt start, as well as car hitting rev limiter in gear. We were told it was an appointment. We did not hear anything from them into October, so on October 10th I stopped by the shop to see how it was going. The car was still outside, and I was told by an employee, and i quote "sorry, they looked at it quick but a more expensive job came in. The owner tends to do do that alot. I'll let you know when we get to work on it." October 25th is the first communication back from Dialed in. Thats over a month. They started working on the car. They'd do a little work, then we not hear from them for a month. Over and over. We specifically told them to keep the car inside as we do not run coolant, and were assured it wouldnt be outside during the winter months. It was left out most of the winter. I work near there and drove by quite a few times. We asked to atleast just throw some coolant in there, to our surprise we were charged $160 for that. Fast forward to Thursday February 1st we were told its all done we can pick up the car. We were quite surprised at the final bill, we were told dyno tuning was $600 and we were billed $1,184.00. No extra hours were approved by us. When we told the owner hes violating NYS DMV laws, he laughed it off. As per NYS autorization of work performed is required to be on the invoice. As well as $50 in 93 octane gas. That car was TOPPED OFF...that tank holds 17 gallons and there was 17 gallons when we dropped it off. We never authorized adding gas. Owner also tried to belittle us asking "is $4400 alot of money to you?" The 3 hour "dyno tune" was done after hours we were told, and not even by the tuner. I feel bad for the employees, they are between a rock and a hard place. We would $765 back for gas, coolant, and dyno time that was not authorized by us.
