    My 2014 dodge grand caravan got into an accident and even tho the car was drivable I wasnt allowed to drive it home so the local police department towed it to sagamore collision about 4 blocks away from the scenario. The accident happened on a Saturday when i went to pick the next business day monday the towing company had a bill for me of 1100 dollars. Between towing and storage it amounted to 475 which I didnt mind paying but with their fees and made up charges to take it out i was being charged 1100 dollars. I am still not able to tow my car out and now i am forced to leave it there because i just dont have the money and i find it really unfair that that business are allowed to conduct themselves this way without any control of what fees they can apply to costumers. AND PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I WAS NOT ABLE TO CALL MY OWN *********** I WAS NOT ALLOWED. NOW MY CAR WILL MOST LIKELY GET JUNKED OR GET RESOLD FOR PART PLEASE HELP ME.

    The bill uploaded was for a tow from a scene of an accident. The vehilce in question was deemed not safe to drive from the scene by the police that arrived. Both vehicles involved were towed. He tried to pick up the car orignally when we were closed. We were contacted by the police to tow the vehicle because, we are a contracted tow company for the area the accident occurred. Those fees are owed to us before we can release the vehicle. The customer didn't advise us he couldn't pay it. He just showed up with the police at our shop. The police advised him we did nothing wrong or criminal. We will release the car once we receive payment.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     
    ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED TOWING COMPANY IS REQUESTING A LARGE SUM OF MONEY THAT ANYONE WOULD FIND UNREASONABLE. AFTER BEING DENIED A REDUCTION OF THE BILL OVER THE PHONE I WAS FORCED TO CALL THE POLICE TO CREATE A REPORT AND CREATE A CASE AGAINST THE SHOP BUT I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A RESOLUTION BUT TO COMPLY WITH THEIR DEMANDS.
