    Hi my name Is ****** ******. I ordered a service through Bound Books Scanning. In which I asked fro the book to not be destroyed and for it to be translated. They said on 13July that the book was done. I had issues with payment with ****** which is the only from of payment they take. I resolved the issue on 16July I got them there payment. On 18July I asked for an *** of my service thru email and by calling. I was told in a few days time. After that the company is not picking up or calling me back when I reach out to them. I had my wife call them and they picked up right after I tried to call and got no response. They told her it would be a few days to finish the book scanning. She called a week later and they said it would be a few days to finish. On 30July they have sent me a digital copy of the scanned book untranslated.They are now ignoring both mine and my wife's' numbers and are not responding to the messages left. The service has been frustrating and is not been completed. I would discuss the issue with the owner if they would only answer. I want my book back. And for them to finish it as it was supposedly done a month ago.

    This customer unfortunately misunderstood the service parameters. We scan books to digital formats (which our customers sometimes use for translation apps) but don't directly assist with the actual translation. There is nothing on our website that states that we offer translation, but somehow that was the impression the customer was holding. The customer has the book returned by now, the digital file downloaded, and a refund in process.

    They told me over the phone that they would translate the book.  If that was not the case I would have not used them as a service.  Their response is a lie.

    We offered the customer a refund and are awaiting his response on where to send the ****** payment. The book has been returned to the customer as well. 

    The customer most likely misunderstood what was told over the phone, we told him that the scans and OCR can be utilized by the various translation apps available today, by providing the text of the book. We didn't say that we actually provide the translation service.

    We apologize for the misunderstanding.

    My issue was some what resolved, but I cannot stand by to hear lies.  I was told that i would receive a translation.  I called and was not ignored (*********) we had a long talk where the back tracked on the promise and said it was all a misunderstanding.  I would not have used their service if that was so.  They said they would send a refund.

    They said they were sending me emails and that they were not coming thru.  I find that this may be possible though unlikely, as I have received emails from them before.

    I don't see me getting a translation at this point and I am fine with a refund.

    We don't provide services that aren't mentioned on our website, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding about the translation.
