Complete list as written by ********************* in attachment "*********************." **** said proper way to repair (this was water damage from a leak) was to gut all walls to studs. (Exception was one paneled wall.) I provided down payment check of $4,500 on April 20, for a May 6th start date. I still had to deposit the insurance check, so he was to wait until Tuesday to deposit. Was following up on MONDAY to deposit. Only parts of the walls were done (where servPro had cut out damaged areas.) Same with ceiling. A garage door opener was provided. Original estimate states "install," which was not done. Nor was adjusting the existing fire door, but he was harassing me, with multiple texts, for the final payment. I left the garage door opener outside with the check. The only times I saw him was when he wanted money. They did not even arrive to work until (per texts) after 10:30 am. On Saturday, May 11th, they were supposed to be working. I got home with part of the "Install shelving of choice" around 2:30 pm. They were not there and had not been, but said they were on the way. Ended up discounting $500 from original estimate of $8,876.50 and did not come that day.None of the spackling was sanded. None of my belongings were covered. There are blobs of spackle on many items. Steps into house were left soaking wet. No clean-up was done. I was clear, from the beginning that, due to medical issues, I am not supposed to be moving or lifting anything. That was not supposed to be an issue. Also, I need to park inside, and based on their erratic work schedule (partially due to weather) filling up the side I park on was not an option.A 50% refund is more than fair. I still need to hire someone to: replace the non-replaced sheetrock, sand and finish the poor spackling, provide and install the garage door opener, remove nails from the garage floor and adjust fire door. I also have to purchase a new step ladder, as my in-house one (photo attached) is completely covered with spackle.
