Good evening. I am sending this email as a formal complaint regarding this alleged company called Quadlogic that is apparently sending me an electric bill. First of all, at the bottom of the bill it states we do not accept payments over the phone or in person. There is no phone number for contact or address of this alleged place. All other legitimate electric companies have a brick-and-mortar office to visit in person and a phone number for contact. Allegedly it is a submeter company. Before I even get into the details of this complaint; I have lived in several boroughs and have never been told we must use this place. I have always been allowed to choose my electric company; even when I lived in a basement of a house. Whenever I question the management office on this block concerning this place, they say they have nothing to do with this; however, the bill is in care of management. For starters, I live in a studio apartment; just myself and my small dog. I do not have cable and only watch tv for the news. I keep my lights off and appliances turned off when not in use. I do not have curtains but only shades; there is good sunlight in the daytime; so, I am not using a lot of electricity. I am being charged random amounts for electricity and was once sent two bills within two days of each other. I am being overcharged for my electricity. I am not the only one; a lot of tenants in the building are experiencing the same problem. For comparison, I have a bill where I was charged the same amount as someone else in my building with a three-bedroom apartment. As a result, I have not been able to keep up with my bill. When any tenants go to *** for help; we are unable to get it because HRA states that this is not a electric company. This does not appear to be legitimate and seriously needs to be investigated. I would like this done and an adjustment made for all the months I have been overcharged for my electricity. I have now been here over 2 years now.

I have paid Quadlogic over $400 dollars in the last 3-4 months, and they keep sending me bills without showing the amount I paid. In one email, the company stated, they had not received my check and after I provided proof that they received the check and cashed it (I provided proof by ********** they cashed the check), then Qualogi stated in a email: "Oh sorry we did cash th check". The billing department cannot be trusted as they apologized after stating numerous times, they had not received my check. As of today, they are still saying they have not received other checks and are saying I owe them $386.00. this is not true and this company are crooks. Why is Quadlogic trying to rip off a senior citizen? Why are they not accepting checks that were cashed by their company? I look forward for your help in solving this issue. Thank you in advance.

    Better Business Bureau:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Quadlogic regarding complaint ID ********.

I have sent them 5 emails asking for a breakdown of my entire bills for the year of 2024 and the money I paid accordingly with those bills, and QUADLOGIC HAVE NOT RESPONDED.

Again, I sent them 5 emails.  I also contacted HEAP as they give me $50 a month to pay my light bills.  As of yesterday, Quadlogic has sent me a new light bill for $386.00

    Sincerely,

    ***** ********

Then the company sent 3 invoices as follow:Invoice-******* dated 06.13.24 $88.02 for service period 01/31/24-02/29/24 with a due date of 07/13/24. This invoice includes past due charges of $103.82 (already mailed).Invoice******** dated 06.14.24 $ ***** for service period 02/29/24-03/31/24 with a due date of 07/14/24. This includes a past due amount of $191.84 for invoice generated on prior date 06/13/24. Total $271.56 Invoice-******* dated 06/14/24 $70.22 for service period 03/21/24-04/30/24 with a due date of 07/14/24. This includes a past due amount of ****** for the 2 prior invoices. Total due of #***.78.I telephoned the company on 06/14/24 twice @02:02pm & 02:08pm there was no response to the number listed on the invoice ********************. I also called on 06/24/24 @08:26am and on today 06/26/24 @ 12:54pm. I also placed a call today 06.26.24 @ 12:54pm. I had previously left a voice mail message. I also reached out via their website and filled out form to have someone contact me. No one from the company has reached out.I would like to know why I am billed for 3 months of services all at once. Previously invoices were received monthly. I reside in a building which houses residents of low income. I am concerned that services will be cut off and I am not able to reach anyone at that company to discuss this matter.

I live in one of the newer affordable housing developments here in ***. This building uses an electricity company called Quad Logic. I have been living in this apartment for two years now and my electricity bill has been inconsistent. Most months I don't receive one--I have actually never physically gotten an electricity bill, as the payments are usually added onto my rent statements. In other words, there have been no charges from them on a consistent monthly basis. On my most current rent statement (11/1/22) I saw that I had a balance forward of ****** dollars. Upon checking my rent statement online, I saw that I was hit with electricity bills from March 11th for $45.60, May, 20th for $66.86, August 13th for $128.88, September 12th $146.28, and October 12th for *****. I want them to be consistent with the payments rather than charge me one lump sum at any given random month. This is also not the first time they've done this to me. But I am fed up now. I want this situation addressed and corrected. My leasing department gave me my log-in for the Quad Logic website so that I could pay down the balance directly through them. However, there is no option to pay down the balance from the previous months (though I am not at fault and shouldn't be paying backpay, anyway) I want this to never happen again. This isn't fair to me. Judging by their reviews on ******* they shouldn't still be in business, they are clearly scammers.
