    Bryant and Sons contracting collected 3500$ from myself for a contracting job with a bathroom and living room celling. Bryant botched the living room ceiling leaving gaps where the molding meets the walls and began to demolish the bathroom never returning to complete the job. I have live wires hanging that have had to be capped by an electrician. Bryant has done this to many people in our area with no remorse nor outcome.

    We signed a contract 8/27/24 with verbal agreement of roof/soffit/fascia work would be done before the snow flew this year. This "contractor" took $7,450 of our money for downpayment for materials. (one check for $6,000 and another for $1,450) I checked in with him every two weeks and he kept pushing us off saying he was behind. I checked in 10/29/24 where he advised he wouldn't be able to complete the job till March 2025 but offered a full refund. Once we accepted the offer for the full refund, he then told us that he found out the "materials he ordered" were non- refundable. He never once told us the materials were non-refundable and it was obvious he was completely unaware of this. We gave him another opportunity to complete the job with said materials. He didn't follow through with the job whatsoever. He will not refund our money, nor will he give us our materials he says he ordered which it is apparent he did not. he never obtained permit to start the job with local city clerk, also he is was arrested for Burglary, Grand Larceny in 2023 and has 2 open small claims court cases pending in the Jamestown NY Court. I can send all documents via email such as all text messages and contract. I have no issues going to the news but dont want the public attention myself but will supply all info needed to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else!

    Hello this is Bryant with Bryant and sons contracting I’m responding on my behalf for the situation of ****** *******. I contracted her job a few months ago and took money as a down payment to start her job and her husband and I discussed that the job needed to be done before the snow flies this winter, I was under the impression that I had time to get to her to get it done before the snow. two weeks before snow ****** had messaged me demanding that I get to her house and start her job. I was currently on another project and Could not drop what I was doing to get to her job. ****** said if I was not there on her time.  she wanted me to be there then she didn’t want me to do the work anymore  knowing that I wasn’t gonna make it for another week or so I told her that was fine and I would deliver the materials that she paid me for her job  ****** decided that she didn’t want materials and instead wanted a full refund of her money she gave me I’m not able to because her materials are nonrefundable because they are custom cut Metal sheets I offered to bring all her material to the job and drop it off and she was not accepting of that. that brings us to where we are today. She’s filing a lawsuit against me and my attorney advised to just keep her materials for when we go to court and let the judge know that I have all her materials she paid for she’s just not accepting of them. So this is not a situation of robbery or theft. This is a situation of breach of contract by being fired by miss seibert I was still well in the timeframe to get the job done before winter time. She had just decided that was not acceptable anymore and unfortunately that’s not how this business works. Thank you very muchBryant Gauggel.
