    In June of 2023 I signed a contract an paid to have j.j roofing and siding redo my whole roof. The town of ********* informed then there could not be more then 1layer of shingles they disregarded them and som parts of my roof have three layers of shingles under it. They also didn't finish the roof there are parts with no metal at all as well as no soffit,drip edge and flashing around chimney is completely wrong waters able to run in behind it no problem no ice n water shield no ice breaker tab pieces. the city inspector took alot of pictures said it was the worst roof he has ever seen it will no pass town inspection it has to be all torn off an re done. I contacted the business who promised multiple Times to come fix it they never came. and they are refusing to give me a refund. So now I'm out 11,500 I paid them and they are refusing to come back and make it right I'm a single mother of 2 and I really need help to get this resolved somehow.

    Had a total tear off roof completed by this company, they damaged the exterior siding, interior insulation, cut several screens with wood falling off the roof, left a mess in the driveway, allowed neighboring houses to dump garbage in the dumpster and wouldn’t flatten the dumpster to allow for the dumpster company to pick it up, left side of the flashing exposed causing possible water to leak into the attic, refused to fix damages and is very unprofessional. The roof took over a month and a half to complete. Overall a very bad experience. Company got paid and has since disappeared.

    JJ ROOFING and SIDING Did not do the work on my house as promised I hired him to put up Gutters on 2/2/2022 they did the work on 2/14/2022 he was paid I. Full on 2/17/2022 we had a winter storm and the gutters Fell and iij called J J ROOFING to tell Him that the gutters fell down and he ignored my calls, I then called ****** ****  and they told me that the gutters were not properly installed. The contract that I had with J J ROOFING and SIDING says they would remove all old ****** board and replace with new ****** board which he did not he put the new gutters on the old ****** board. So as a result I have to hire ****** **** to Replace new gutters on the one side of the house. My hope is that the other side doesn't fall down from J J ROOFING and SIDING from their Shoddy work I also took pictures that shows that he didn't di what he said. I paid JJ ROOFING and SIDING $2197 and now I have to pay ****** **** $2052 and as a result I want people to know that J J ROOFING and SIDING is not a reputable Business. When I was able to reach him to tell him about the situation he refused accept any Responsibility for the falling of the Gutters and he did not want to hear anything else that I had to say he hung up on me.     BBB spoke to Jesse at the business and the following was relayed: The customer's issue was due to a very bad snowstorm, not workmanship. I had offered to install for free if they purchased the gutters which they did not agree to.

    On October 4, 2022, J.J. Roofing and Siding installed a tarp on my roof. Upon completion of the project I expressed concerns to the contractor that the tarp was not lying flat on the roof. He assured me that he had added more than adequate wood strips to keep it (the tarp) secure. Before leaving he stated he would return to correct any issues that may arise with the tarp. On Friday, October 7, of that week the wind was blowing the tarp all over the place. Some of the wooden strips that were supposed to secure the tarp came loose and fell into the driveway. I left repeated voice mail messages throughout the week, which he never returned. I sent photos via ********, he said he'll be there soon. I spoke to him personally on Saturday, October 15, he promised he would be there that morning. I mentioned the fact that it was windy. He assured me that the wind would not be an issue and, that he would be at my house shortly. He failed to show up, as he has failed to show for any previous appointments, that week. I want a refund. I also want him to remove the tarp and wooden strips that he installed from the roof and, also be responsible for any cleanup and damages that may have occurred. I no longer have any confidence in his ability.
