I engaged this law firm to handle my case as a landlord seeking to *** my tenants for non-payment. Unfortunately, they advised me to file a non-payment case instead of a holdover case, despite the lease being expired, which they had on file. This led to the wrong motion being filed, and after 16 months of no progress, they dropped me as a client. Moreover, their lack of response to basic email inquiries reflects a lack of professionalism.

This client gave us the wrong information to start the case, and then refused to pay his bill and that is why we dropped him as a client You may also want to ****** this client by name to learn more about him

Avoid this firm and spend a little extra to get REAL results. My family and I have used this firm pre-covid for years and I was beyond baffled to be insulted and conned of my retainer fee after the years of business relationship we've had. I understand ***** made things difficult and the law was ever changing in the matter of landlord-tenant cases, however I started a non-payment case November 2020 and never once got any update regarding the case. I frequently reach the office for an update, only to receive excuses. This firm dragged their feet for a year and still no progress in the case. I got tired of the poor excuses over the phone, so I emailed for an update and was informed by an associate (***********************) that "tenant has satisfied the previous petition which means we cannot move forward with this case." Highly confused at this point, because there has been ZERO progress in this case and suddenly the petition has been "satisfied?" This associate proceeds with demanding that I start another new case for an additional retainer fee? This firm hasn't done a single thing to get any backdated rent paid, but they want me to pay their retainer fee twice? I responded to **** and asked what satisfactory? No response from her, of course. So, I call the office and the receptionist transfers me to an attorney in the office to address my concern. I had trouble hearing the attorney, so I simply said "sorry, who am I speaking to?" Apparently the big ******************** Rosenblatt, answered the call and arrogantly responded "I kind of own this place." No one cares for your arrogance, just do your job and stop wasting your clients time and stealing their money with ZERO results. I eventually resorted to ERAP and received the full arrear, given it did take some time but still LESS THAN A YEAR with ********************************************************************** & Rosenblatt NEVER refunded me my retainer fee.
