    On May 30th, 2023 I paid in full for a door and requested a refund on June 9th, 2023 which Universal Fireproof Door ** denied. I received an invoice at the time of payment which states I can cancel anytime 24 hours prior to installation and after reaching out they are not willing do anything to help me. I have emailed them on June 9th about the cancellation/ refund when the scheduled installation was on June 15th, 2023.

    Good Day, 

     This client called the day prior to  the scheduled installation date (of their custom made door unit) to advise we could not install the door on the scheduled date because the management of the site location would not permit another company (meaning us) to install the custom door that *** mechanical ordered. We, Universal Fireproof Door, suggested to the client that we can deliver to them when they are ready. The client never got back to us with a delivery date but rather they contacted us to cancel and refund the entire order. We advised the *** Mechanical the order was non refundable as it was a custom made order. The fine print on the proposal does not suggest that we can refund the order at all, rather that they can cancel the installation date at least 24hours prior to avoid a "day loss of labor" fee. The client has been explained time and time again the order was already fabricated & ready for their installation which results in being non refundable, and since they paid for the product they can either pick up the product or we can deliver. In turn the client attempted to dispute the credit card charge for a product that was custom made for them, which the merchant did not ***** since we had all signed documentation to support our reasoning. The client is still always welcome to retrieve their product as they did pay for and rightfully belongs to them.
