    In January 2023, I reached out to Rose for product photography services for my upcoming small business. The package was $600 and required a $300 deposit. I sent that deposit in February 21, 2023, and while I hadnt confirmed a shoot date yet, **** assured me that I could book at any time in the future.After that payment was sent, I never heard from her again.I sent countless emails over two years no response. No updates. Complete silence.Then, on February 21, 2025 (two years from when I sent out the deposit), **** finally responded, stating she had discontinued product photography but would provide a refund and asked for my bank details. I followed up four days later, and she replied:"Yes I will send you the refund. I am a small business and the deposit was from a while ago so its not readily available. But I will send it."I waited again. On April 6th, I followed up. Over a month had passed with no refund. Her new response?"I spoke to my accountant about this the other day, and since I had already paid taxes on it as income it would be a loss for my company to issue a cash refund. Although I initially wanted to compensate you as the deposits are non-refundable, its simply not possible."Instead, she offered me a $250 credit toward other services (graphic design, packaging, or web design) that do not serve my *********** summarize:I paid for a service that was never delivered.I spent over 2 years trying to get a response.I was promised a refund, then denied ****** Im being told I cant get my money back and have to settle for something I never asked for.
