I have unfortunately had a terrible experience with this autobody repairer, with extensive delays, lack of communication, and staff blaming the insurance company and parts dealer for delays (which both refuted). My vehicle was booked in for a simple panel replacement, with Premier advising they would need the truck for around 5 days. It has now been 3 weeks since I dropped the vehicle off, and and it has once again been delayed a further week.During the repair process, I have not once received a phone call, text, or email to update me on the repair status or schedule, and I have had to call them each time to get any information at all. Premier are now telling me that I should contact the insurance company to obtain any further updates.I would recommend avoiding this business for any autobody repairs.

First of all, there is no such thing as a simple panel replacement when you are replacing a bedside on a truck. The reason we give you an estimate is because it's just an estimate not a guarantee of damage or repair time. Any time there is a supplement involved we have to wait for the insurance company to approve it before we can move forward. We submitted the supplement on 6/1/2022, we got approval for the additional work and parts needed on 6/6/2022 from ************************* at **************, her phone number is ******************** if you would like to call her and verify that. We placed the parts order for all additional parts with *** from ***************** Dodge on 6/6/2022 when we got the approval, we are still waiting on the additional parts you may call *** at ************** to verify that. The panel was repairable, and the original estimate was $2115.86. You insisted on a new panel which slowed down the repair process and the estimate jumped up to $2760.58. after starting work on it we found additional damage and the supplemental estimate went up to $4179.85. In case you haven't noticed there is a huge supply chain issue in almost every industry, automotive parts are no different. They too are still trying to recover from the impact of Covid which had stopped manufacturing in many plants. It's not just your vehicle we have been dealing with these issues for two years now. If there was a way to upload the correspondence with the insurance company as well as the parts dealer in this response I would. I will give you copies of the emails and uploads as well as parts invoices when you pick up your truck. As far as contacting you when you dropped it off you said you would be out of town for a week and would contact us when you got back. ***** explained to you what the supplement was you told her you would rather us take are time and do it correctly. We have no control over parts delays, and deliveries and you were made aware of that., The reason you are being told to contact the insurance company is because you have been incredibly rude using foul language to the office staff and they do not need to put up with that. We contacted ************** about your behavior, and they told us to tell you that you would have to go through them regarding updates on your vehicle. We will contact you one last time when your vehicle is ready for pick up.

    Customer Response

While I am reluctant to enter in to a "he said/she said", I feel the need to set the record straight on a couple of aspects of the above reply. At no time have I used "foul language" or been "incredibly rude" in my interactions with this business. I have asked questions that staff seemed unwilling to answer, however communication has always remained professional from my end. There are some significant variances between the claims made by Premier Auto Body and the insurance company, and I also have concerns about the blame that Premier has assigned to their supplying parts dealer, as they were not willing to even advise the part number of the components that are supposedly on back order and delaying the repair.I am looking forward to receiving my vehicle back at some point, once my "5 day job" has finally been completed.Again, if you are looking for an autobody repairer in ****/Sparks, I can only suggest that you consider a different business.
