    My wife received hearing aids from this provider and loved them. A few weeks later she was told to come into the office for cleaning and adjustment (that she did not need or request), but was told in order to maintain the warranty that this service was mandatory. The office lost the hearing aids. Well, the office stated that they do not know where they are, and that the person who fit the hearing aids might have them. They could not contact him and refused to provide his name or contact information to me. The office would not provide (at first) the name of the independent contractor who "may or may not" have been responsible for losing the hearing aids. They replaced the hearing aids with a different model than the original that did not perform as well as the originals, nor did they fit. The new ones were unusable. We moved out of state. After we were settled in, we decided to continue our efforts with this office to correct their mistake. In the meantime, one of the hearing aids fell out of my wife's ear and was lost, since it was not fit to her and was not the same as the original. After many, many phone calls, I ended up on the phone with the office manager Elky J****. She informed me that they are not responsible or liable for any actions taken by any independent contractor that we receive service from in their office. They refused to stand behind the mistakes of their own office and offered the sad excuse that they are not responsible for any actions of their independent contractors. I have reached out to the Nevada State Board to verify their claim that they are not liable for these mistakes. PLEASE BEWARE - IF YOU GO TO THIS OFFICE FOR SERVICE, THEY CAN DO ANYTHING THEY WANT AND TELL YOU AFTER THE FACT THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE SINCE THE SERVICE WAS PROVIDED BY AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. Sounds too horrid to be true, but that is what I was told. I was also informed by the "office manager" that the business owner and the doctor also felt they had zero liability for this mistake since it was an independent contractor who provided service. BEWARE - find out if you will be working with someone who is liable for any mistake made, or if you will be serviced by an "independent contractor" and have no rights nor any path to resolve errors made by said independent contractor. FIND OUT UP FRONT WHO YOU ARE WORKING WITH AND WHO IS LIABLE FOR ERRORS - PLEASE.

    The patient purchased hearing aids (HAs) from us. Prior to moving, her HAs were sent for repair. Often times the HA company will send a new pair of the same exact HAs back, & is what happened here. The company sent a replacement set, which we have documentation of. At this time, the patient would typically come in for fitting & reprogramming. However, the patient moved out of town & had her husband pick them up without being re-fit on her. We found an audiologist in their new place of residence that could program & fit the new HAs, which she states she did. Months later she states she lost the HAs & is demanding we pay for a replacement set. She lost the HA & we have no control over that. This patient's situation has been painstakingly reviewed by our current doctor of audiology, our office manager, & practice owner. All three of us feel we've done everything possible & will continue to do everything we can to reasonably accommodate patient's emotional stress about the situation.

    Their statement "We found an audiologist in their new place of residence that could program & fit the new HAs, which she states she did." Is incorrect. They claim they found a doctor that worked with this hearing aid, but they did not. I would like to know the contact information for the new doctor they claim to have found for us.

    The MAIN issue here is this business demanded we return the original hearing aids for annual adjustment only weeks after we picked them up or we would void the warranty. Then they said they have no control of what the doctor at the time did with them, or why he sent them in. They originally told us that the doctor at the time lost them, now this has changed to "Often times the HA company will send a new pair of the same exact HAs back, & is what happened here. The company sent a replacement set, which we have documentation of." The pair we were given are not the exact same as they are now claiming since we involved the BBB. I would very strongly recommend a
