I am submitting this complaint for my mom as she only speaks spanish.
****** ******* de ******** paid the security deposit in July 2024 along with pro-rated rent. The laundry room ceiling was coming down and had alot of mold. We asked ******* to repair it but it took him until almost the end of September to repair it. As it started getting cold, I asked ******* to install heaters as ****** was using a space heater. He said he would go the following day but all he did was take ****** another space heater. Four days later, ****** notified me that ******* had not gone by to install heaters so I texted ******* and told him space heaters use alot of electricity and if was going to deduct from the rent. ******* did not respond but he went and installed small wall heaters that barely let out heat. They heated the wall more than they heated the home. ****** still had to continue using the space heater that my brother in law had left for her. ****** notified me that the house was still cold and it had gotten so cold one night, her pace maker in her chest started hurting but she didn't tell me until a couple of days later. Then a mice problem started and she notified ******* and all he did was buy some sticky pads for ****** to use instead of calling an exterminator or trying to figure out where they were coming inside from. ****** is a very clean person and she is 73 years old and should not have to live that way so that is why we moved her out as soon as we could. ******* was already aware that ****** was going to be moving out because the apartment company where ****** had applied, contacted ******* for reference. He asked one of his workers if he knew when ****** was going to be moving out because he was already wanting to rent the house out to someone else. His worker ****** is a church friend of ****** so he had told her. There was no lease as there are no dates written in the rental agreement. I feel this is elderly negligence. ****** would like her deposit back please
