  If you can avoid using this company, do it! We contracted with Magellan Van Lines for our move, we were offered a great price, ***************************** was extremely helpful, helping us find discounts here and there, offering the best service and promising the great service will be provided all the way until everything got delivered at my door, safe and sound. They sub-contracted another moving company, Sannah *** Lines for the actual move, after we paid the deposit and the 70% of the remaining balance, everything went downhill. May 24th is when they picked up our furniture, it's June 19th, and we still have no idea where our belongings are or when they'll arrive. We've called close to a dozen times asking for a delivery update and the answer is always the same "we'll send the message along and someone will call you back." The problem is that nobody calls back EVER, two weeks of calling almost daily, and still no answer. Well finally, someone called us back today, after telling them we will leave this negative review in the BBB website. When we agreed to the service, we were told that delivery would be 2 to 22 days after pick-up. When we called the first time, we were informed that it was 2 to 22 Business Days, so that changed. Today, we were informed that it was 2 to 22 Business days FROM First-available delivery date, which was June 6th, so now it changed again. After over an hour on the phone getting frustrated and been given the run-around over and over and over again, someone was finally able to at least tell us that our belongings are somewhere in ********, and to not expect any delivery updates until at least next week. All this to say that as of right now, we still have no idea of what the possible delivery-window might be. So yeah, no matter how affordable ********************** *** Services makes it look, between then and Sannah *** Lines, I can't honestly tell which one has been worse with their useless **************** that can never provide any answers.

  I am not a review writer but need to warn you against how this company prices their moving projects and traps you. We secured them for moving my daughter from a 1-bedroom apartment across state lines. Their pricing model is 1/3 down, 1/3 at pickup and 1/3 at delivery. Seems reasonable. But what they will do is once you're already committed, they will tell you your load is more than expected (in our case they added $750 before pickup). Fine, maybe we underestimated our load. Then before they would load the truck, they added a whopping $1700 MORE on top of the the cost. And charged for every packing material item they never mentioned before. At that point our hands were tied. I would recommend choosing a pricing program that is a flat fee. They would not return my calls after many attempts to inform them of my frustration. NEVER AGAIN. **** sold ** the business and ***** was the manager. Both liars and a big scam of a company. DON'T GET TRAPPED.

  I want to start by saying its really hard to earn a 5 star from me, but Im so glad i found Magellan. After i got an in home quote of $25000 from mayflower I decided to shop around. my Friend had recently moved down to ******* and referred Magellan. they came in around $18,000. As far as the move they were punctual and friendly. When dealing with anyone in the office it was an absolute delight. I want to say thanks especially to ***** she was great.

  This company is nothing but fraudulent liars. I had specifically asked before conducting amy business with them if they were a moving company or a broker. I asked them if they would be handling the move themselves or subcontracting it. I asked if it would be direct or if it would be loaded into a semi. And every word out of their mouth was a bold face lie. **** is nothing but a liar and scum. After the had secured an initial deposit from me, the company brokered out my move to another company without ever notifying me.   Sales as well as customer service team was helpful and very personable. Also great sense of humor (haha you know what Im taking about ***). Movers got the job done well. Overall process was fairly easy. Would recommend to my family and friends. Thanks guys and gals!!
