Hello, my name is Mr. ************************ On 6/16/22, I made an online purchase from Bed, Bath, and Beyond for a box of hangers to be delivered to my front door. I typed the instructions down as to where to place this package. Since I am disabled, I receive numerous deliveries on a daily basis, never having any issues. At 3:13pm that day, I received an incoherent text from a ********** number. I called that number and was connected to a woman who neither spoke nor understood any English. That woman hung up the phone so I texted her asking who she was and why she was contacting me. I received no response. I then received a phone call from a private number from a woman named ****** who said she was an employee of Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and the other woman who contacted me didn't know where to deliver this merchandise. ****** spoke very little English so that is what I am assuming she was saying. I told ****** to return this item and refund me in full which she agreed to. I then received a text from ********** stating that this item was "left in a safe location". I then responded to that text reiterating my request to remove and return this item wherever it was left at. An hour later I received an email confirmation that this item was returned. However, my debit card was charged $26.25. Please instruct Bed, Bath, and Beyond to refund that amount in full within 48 hours. Failure to comply will leave me no choice but to contact all applicable U.S. government offices, along with social and news media outlets.Business Response

On 6/13/2022 I contacted BedBathAndBeyond,regarding my rewards.I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes and when a representative came on the phone she stated she was from collections. She then explained the rewards department was closed.I then called the **** bed bath and beyond store. They kept rerouting me and finally hung up on me. Fast forward to today the the same thing everyone kept hanging up on me so finally I started to message them regarding my rewards. On October 21, 2021, I ordered the ************** ********************* Desk in White/Oak SKU ********, BBB6588104281. Upon receipt of the product, I noted the packaging was damaged. A few days after receiving the package I hired someone to carry the product up to the second floor since it was over 72 lbs and not something I could lift. Once I was able to get it to the second floor, I began the assembly only to find key pieces of the leg assembly were missing.I called the customer service line and to contact the manufacturer. I tried with no avail to reach the supplier. I contacted through the chat to file the missing parts. I provided the exact parts by the part numbers provided in the manufacturer's instructions (2 wooden pieces and a 1 bolt). Without these parts the desk has no legs and is completely unusable.I was told it would be no problem to get them and they would be there in a few days. I followed up between Nov and Feb to find out where the missing parts were and was told they would ship as soon as they became available but their was no estimated ship date.In late February I received a notice the parts had shipped. At first, I did not realize they were even the "parts". There were no wooden pieces AND it was a package of screws that did not match any of the parts used to assemble the desk. It also did not indicate that it was sent from Bed Bath and Beyond. When I followed up to see about the remain parts, I was informed they were sent. When I let them know that the screws were not what I requested, they referred to the ticket notes typed up by their representative requesting screws. Because the parts I requested were not in the original request (through no error of mine), they would not request replacement parts and would not refund. Eventually, I argued enough to get a return option; however, this would require packaging and paying someone to move it. I am requesting a full refund. If they require they desk back, they can supply packaging.Business Response

Purchased a mirror from Bed Bath & Beyond. It clearly states on the website that there is a warranty for this product. The product was used, covered in dirt and broken when it arrived (late). After unpacking it I noticed that it was broken. Bed Bath & Beyond customer support told me that it was outside of their return window and I would have to go through the manufacturer for the warranty. The manufacturer however stated that there is no warranty on their products and that I need to talk to Bed Bath & Beyond regarding the wrong website description. Bed Bath & Beyond still clearly states that there is a warranty on these products, which is not true. I'm out of my money with a broken mirror.
