I was scheduled to receive a heart monitor in the ******* office on 5/15/23. When I arrived at my 11AM appointment, I was told my heart monitor was not brought in my the front-desk person in charge of transporting the monitor from office to office. I was not told about this when I got in. The office, though connected to a few others, was unable to help me reschedule the appointment. I call to try to schedule the updated appointment, waiting an unreasonable amount of time on hold before even speaking to anyone. They couldn't get me into appointments in one office, so I was split across two (I needed 3 procedures including the heart monitor). They did inform me if they could get me into one office they would, and they were able to. Only problem here was, I could not get in touch with ANY office after I listened to their voicemail when getting out of class. It took over an hour on the phone to communicate that I did in fact want my procedures in one office. When I finally get to the appointment on 6/8/23, my stress test and heart ultrasound go fine, but when the medical assistant talks to my about my heart monitor, she informs me I need to bring it back the following Monday--which I cannot do, because I am in school, and the office is NOT my home office. I was also NEVER told prior to learning I would require to be monitored that the heart monitor would need to be returned prior to my next appointment-- i.e., I was under the impression I would have to heart monitor until my next appointment, or I would return it for my next appointment. I was put in an extremely uncomfortable position, basically being told I could not get the monitor even though I was not able to get one on the originally-scheduled date because of the office's mistake. The medical assistant was also put in an uncomfortable position of changing the date on the sheet on my behalf. I requested to speak to the office manager but she would not speak to me. The office refuses to take accountability.
