    I would give negative stars if I could..This company is atrocious. My landlord, ******************* was allegedly doing a trial period with this company. My rent was and always has been due on the 5th of the month. I am a disabled person and this is when I receive my check. ****'s trial period began in Sept 2023. I paid my rent directly to ************** as usual on Sept 5th. Sureway assessed me a $50 late fee because it wasn't in on the 1st. I have received no new lease from them and explained my situationto them via email. ************** told me not to worry about it he explainedit to the company. I paid October and November 2023 rent in the same way. On Nov 8th **** I received an eviction notice from SureWay for unpaid rent fees. They set a court date for December 21, 2023. This is both unprofessional and bogus and a defamation to my character. I am a physically and mentally disabled person and am beside myself.

    If I could put zero stars I would. For starters, my boyfriend and I were in a tough spot because I was pregnant and we needed a new place to stay that had enough room for my boyfriend, baby, my mom and our two dogs, and this was at a time where there was literally nothing on the market and if there was the prices were very high. So we found this place and it had the perfect set up. My boyfriend toured the house and from the outside it looked worthy enough, just a fixer upper right? WRONG! We moved in and the ** wasnt working from day one, and this was June 1st. The home was advertised to have *************************** throughout the house besides the attic but come to find out, after 28 days of no ** in the summertime the house actually had no heating or cooling on the 2nd floor where my newborn would be sleeping. Mind you, we had to go through the whole summer with the ** breaking every couple weeks and the worst part was, the ** guy came whenever he felt like it. Then we had a major leak in the basement where the water was just pouring out of the wall, destroying our belongings and its also where the washer and dryer is hooked up so its a fire hazard. After that our kitchen sink started leaking and making this awfully loud noise to the point where we had to completely shut the water off. Oh and speaking of water being shut off, on our lease it said we were only responsible for putting the light under our name, everything else would be billed through the tenant portal, 7 months later, out of nowhere, our water was shut off. We called the landlord and they tried saying we were supposed to put it under our name and when we showed them the lease they said oh it was a mistake and tried to still make us pay for it! This is all while having a newborn. The upstairs was so cold, the lowest hitting 60 degrees with a space heater on all night where we had to sleep in the black mold filled basement. They had they nerve to tell us, our previous tenants never complained.
