    They helped me move my mother from *************** ** to ********** FL and did a great job. ***** helped me arrange my move and the crew packed- everything and made sure it arrived safely. They were very prompt and professional.

    I had the worst experience with this company. They lack professionalism and communication skills. The way that I was spoken to was completely unacceptable. The movers arrived 4 hours late and demanded more money than what I was quoted in the beginning. I was not given a receipt after my stuff was loaded and tried to get ahold of someone in regards to a receipt and was still not given one. I was also told my stuff would arrive in 5 days which turned into ******************************************************************************************************************************** given the run around. The only answer I was given was that the truck was having mechanical issues. When my stuff finally arrived most of the stuff was damaged. Some of my items were not packed properly which caused them to break. In the beginning I was told I had insurance in case anything was damaged. However, that was not true. I have not been compensated for the damages and the company could care less. All they cared about was getting their money.

    On June 17, 2025, I responded to a Budget Van Lines ad and was contacted by ********************** ***** ***** quoted me $1,930 with a $700 deposit for a move from ** to ** on July 3. I was told non-boxed items would be wrapped and the quote included all services. After receiving Estimate #*******, I saw missing items. I contacted ***** *****, who updated my inventory to 124 items. The quote then increased to $5,485 with another $1,000 deposit, and I was told Id need 1250 cubic ******************************* Binding Estimate: Starline drastically increased the quote without a revised contract, violating N.J.A.C. 13:44D-4.1.Undisclosed Subcontractor: On July 3, **** called and movers from MoveKing LLC, not Starline, arrived. I was never told the job would be subcontracted, violating N.J.A.C. 13:44D-4.10.Bait-and-Switch Pricing: I reduced my inventory but was told it now exceeded the quoted volume. ******** ignored my calls and never returned promised dispatch follow-ups.Coercive Fee Collection: I was forced to pay an additional $1,892.50 before loading. By 9:42 p.m., only half the truck was filled. I was then told it would cost $1,200 more to move the restitems already included in my quote.Incomplete Move: Items left behind: 1 deep freezer, 5 mirrors, 3 picture boxes, 4 TVs, a computer desk, recliner set, 2 bedroom sets, and more. The mover promised to return on July 4 but never did. As of July 6, the move remains incomplete. I called MoveKing LLC and was told by *****, he is not sending his men back there to move anything.Violations of NJ Law:N.J.A.C. 13:44D-4.1 (No written, binding estimate)N.J.A.C. 13:44D-4.10 (Undisclosed subcontractor)N.J.S.A. 56:8-2 (Consumer fraud / deceptive pricing)N.J.A.C. 13:44D-5.1 (Failure to perform services)

    If I can give them zero stars I would unfortunately It doesn't allow me too. This company lack communications and professionalism skills. I did not get a call stating they were on their way. They just sowed up before 8am to tell me they are there. Upon arrival I ask if they were aware of the 2nd trip to storage. No because he did not review his contract information, he was just focus on how he scammed me into more money. Countrywide relocation agent ****** quote us the wrong amount so it went up to additional ******* from the originally amount which was *****. Another ****** when they got to the storage because of space. They scraped my walls they rushed the process. Had me waiting 45 minutes to a hour in the storage place to pick up the remainder of the items. We bought pizza and grinders so they won't be hungry but they still had me waiting. Never gave me receipt when he stated he was going to give me. Charged me additional ******* time of pick up and didn't want to release my ite.s until we paid the money up front. Told I would pay additional 250 a hour if I had to wait any longer. They are scammers don't hire they out of state they will have you pay3x more. I will be report them both countrywide relocation ad move king ************ Get your a legit moving company who are friendly and don't disrespect you when you call them asking them for the receipt. Because they supposedly forgot to give it to you the first time but they didn't forget to take your money.

    We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint and would like to address each concern expressed by the customer.First and foremost, ******************** LLC only received the inventory and job details provided by the broker, **********************. Based on the information we were given, our crew arrived prepared to complete the move as described. Upon arrival, it became clear there were more items than listed, which required additional space and packing materials. As a licensed carrier, we are required by law to document the actual volume and space used in the truck, and pricing is adjusted accordingly based on those *********** for the timing, our drivers operate on tight schedules and arrived on-site prior to 8 AM as part of their planned route. We understand this may have felt abrupt, and we apologize if the customer expected advance notice on the day of the move. We do our best to coordinate within the constraints of our logistics and scheduling.Regarding the delay at the storage facility, we want to clarify that there was no intent to rush the customer. However, due to a full schedule and the unexpected volume of additional items, the crew did have to stop for extra packing materials to ensure that all items were handled properly. Again, we did not receive the full inventory in advance, but our goal remained to complete the job with care and avoid any damage to the customers belongings.The truck also had to be weighed as part of our standard operating procedures. This process is important for ensuring compliance and fair billing and may have contributed to wait time. We understand the delay may have been frustrating, and we appreciate the customers patience.We were not notified of any damage to walls or property at the time of service. However, we take these concerns seriously and encourage the customer to contact us directly with photos or documentation so we can review the issue and work toward a resolution if appropriate.Lastly, we are happy to provide receipts and all supporting documentation upon request. If the customer did not receive one at the time of pickup, we sincerely apologize and can promptly issue another copy.Move King LLC is committed to providing honest, fair, and professional service. We always welcome feedback and remain open to working with our customers to ensure satisfaction. Upon pickup we asked the customer if there were additional concerns and you completed a Customer Feedback report giving us good marks. Again we will try to rectify any concerns you have.

    ************** were very helpful and polite at both ends of my move. They wrapped all my furniture and nothing arrived damaged. ***, the owner, was responsive and helpful when I asked for explanations. Overall it was a good experience.
