    *** ******************** took delivery of the cabin kit and materials on December 12, 2023. Along the way he verbally reassured me that the project would be delivered in a timely manner but refused to commit to a specific completion date in writing, citing potential town approval delays, but contractually acknowledged timely delivery.Throughout 2024 and into 2025, *** ******************** consistently failed to provide adequate staffing and supervision. The worksite often had only one or two workers, and on several days, no one at all. These absences were observed by neighbors and later confirmed via security camera. *** ******************** denied this on a few occasions, until I explained to him, I had installed cameras ******** 2025).Based on *** ********************s promises, I relinquished my previous address in July 2024. However, the project missed the September deadline followed by additional missed orally promised dates in November 2024, January 2025, and March 2025. As of June 10, 2025, I still do not have occupancy.Although temporary occupancy was granted in April 2025, it was revoked by the inspector.The cabin has suffered from some neglect and unreasonably slow progress. Improper storage of materials resulted in water damage and staining on numerous surfaces. The water heater and wood stove are leaking. Landscaping remains incomplete and the yard is in *********** communicating with the inspector on the project yesterday (June 11, 2025) we were informed of a list of current and outstanding issues: electrical issues, the finishing and completion of the yard for the shoreline permitting, the dryer vent violations (fire hazard), the basement insulation, the stove pipe going up through the roof that is unsupported and deck structural issues.The extremely limited crew size, lack of supervision, improper material storage and inspector comments indicate work that falls well below expected industry standards of care for residential construction in *************, even on a modest project such as this.
