I brought my vehicle with the necessary parts for repair to an automotive shop, the promised to repair it and perform a general service to get it ready for the road again. Initially it was dropped off in January and while work on it was slow due to a delay in the arrival of a new part, it was still getting done. In April or May a technician for the shop was pulled off of the project and ever since zero work has been put into repairing my vehicle, they have left it outside without any covering (now covered in snow despite the front end being completely off) and are blatantly ignoring my calls and voicemail. I've already paid them for most of the work as they said it "would help move along the progress on the vehicle". When I brought it to them the implication was that it would be in and out fairly quickly, it was never suggested that it would turn into a project car to sit on their lot for nearly a year. I'm concerned that they're attempting to take the money I've already paid them as well as the brand new parts I supplied and essentially run off with it. The vehicle is a 2008 335xi *** and it is my only mode on transportation, without it I've been constantly draining money into car insurance for a vehicle I cannot use, taxi's and coworkers for rides to and from work, expense delivery services, etc. This is ruining me financially and socially, I've missed out on connecting with friends and family and missed raises/job opportunities because of my lack on transportation puts my reliability into question. I'm not sure if this is something the BBB can help me with but it was recommended for me to fill out a report. I've already paid them directly ******** along with spending ******** to purchase and ship the new twin turbo they recommended.
