June 8 2025 via ****** ********** I paid $384.98 . This was for interior and exterior detailing and Headlight restoration . The invoice scheduled June 24 at 10:00 am at19 ***************************************. received a message that a new date of July * at 10 am . The received another message that he was waiting to be cleared by his doctor. I waited another period o0f time and asked when the job would be scheduled ? After a period of time I then asked for a refund.his reply and i Quote i cannot refund at this point but you could try disputing with your bank .I the said it would be easier to refund and not force some type of legal issues. I bought a gift certificate from this business in December 2024, and at first the owner was very responsive. I made an appointment recently to have my wifes car cleaned (May 12) and I suddenly received a cancelation email out of the blue with no context and no option to reschedule. I followed up by texting the owner - which I had to text a couple of times to get an answer. He mentioned that something came up so we discussed about rescheduling. After the conversation, the owner mentioned that if there is an opening on his online calendar, I would be able to pick the day and time to reschedule. Fortunately there was an opening, we I booked a time a few weeks later (Friday June 6th). We received confirmation emails (as well as promotional emails leading up to the appointment). I was a little skeptical about this, so I decided to text him a couple of days prior (June 4th) to the appointment to make sure I could drop off my wifes car in the morning. I got a text back saying thats not gonna work. We still havent reopened We were unaware of this business being closed until roughly that day. I expressed my disappointment trying to make an appointment to have my car cleaned. The owner followed up by saying Im sorry us relocating is disappointing. There was no notice of relocation online, communicated towards either me or my wife, anywhere. We were still trying to make an appointment but no answer back. So I decided to cancel my appointment and ask for a refund - to which no reply has occurred. We think since people are still able to book appointments online, promotional emails still come through, all while his business is not technically open and is being relocated is very frustrating and not ethical. We hope this gets resolved and hope other people have a better experience from here on out with Wicked Clean Cah.Business Response

I was given a "Wicked Clean Cah" gift certificate for Christmas, 2023. Since I was moving to the ********** area, I waited until my move was complete to use my gift.I hadn't noticed that the expiration date was June 20, 2024 until the first week of July, but the gift certificate did say the "Paid value never expires." When contacted, the owner agreed to honor the $399 value of the certificate. I made the appointment on July 7, 2024, online, as required. I entered my credit card to pay the requested $29.00 deposit, only to find that my card was charged an additional $390.99 at the same time. When he came to pick up the car on July 25 for detailing, I mentioned the $390.99 charge and was told it would be credited back to me. The car came back looking great.But to date, I have received neither a credit on my card nor a check. When I texted to inquire about it, I was told it would take 7-10 days to process and if I disputed the charges on my card, he would fight the dispute. Well, given his track record, I am filing this complaint and disputing the charges.Business Response

Client was refunded already. Client recieved services on July 25th. (See attached.) Not sure why client proceeded to file a dispute and claim services not recieved when she has recieved services. And why she felt necessary to make a complaint as well when she already filed a dispute. We even honored an expired gift card as a courtesy. This type of instance is why we are no longer offering gift cards ever again. This matter is closed and we will not be responding any further.Customer Answer

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]I did at no time say that services were not received! The detail work was done beautifully. What I do dispute is that, while the owner did agree to accept a one month expired gift certificate (copy previously provided) with a value of $399.99, my credit card was also charged a deposit ($29) and an additional $390.99. Today (8/21/24) a credit was posted to my credit card account in the amount of $190.00. The current price for the Interior and Exterior detail on the Wlcked Clean Cah website (which is what I ordered) is $399.99, along with valet pick up which was $25. I was told there might be an up-charge for bug or tar removal after the fact., but was not given a specific price. I have asked for an itemized receipt, which has never been provided. While I appreciate the $190 credit, am I to believe the remaining $204.99 can be attributed to the up-charge for bug and/or tar removal? I am requesting an additional $125 credit and an itemized receipt.

I hired this business in July 2023 to detail my Jeep. I paid in advance but he charged my card a few more times in August, with no warning, for various charges I wasnt expecting such as over-sized vehicle, dog hair, whatever live and learn, right? I decided to never use him again. THEN, there was a town ******** post warning everyone to check their bank and credit card statements because the owner, *************************, was randomly charging people who hadnt used his service for anywhere from six months to TWO YEARS!! I checked and, sure enough, he had billed my card in February 2024 for $339.99!!Everyone started calling him and he became belligerent, going as far as writing nasty reviews about some of the people hed stolen from who also happened to be contractors. Then he claimed that a software glitch had generated the charges and he said he wd pay us back, but he didnt. Complaints were filed with the **************** (he changed his address to ***************************************************************) and he was forced to pay those who filed.I decided to reach out to him directly. He gave me the runaround for quite awhile and then finally asked me to just dispute the charge with my bank. He promised he wd accept it. HE LIED. My bank contacted me this morning and said the merchant supplied documentation supporting the charge so your claim is denied. What??? You mean, the BOGUS documentation!!?? Another customer said he did same to her and she had all but given up!! I think thats what he counts on people not noticing the charges or being so turned off by his rude and disrespectful behavior that they dont think its worth the fight. WHY is someone like this still allowed to operate a business?? He is a THIEF, DISHONEST, CONNIVING and NASTY, with no moral core.Initial Complaint

I received a gift card for this business in June and I put a $25 deposit down for an appointment per the request of the business person I was texting at *************. The way the person was handling business via text caused me to want to cancel altogether which I was advised I couldnt so even though the appointment was originally scheduled with my information (including my Jeep info), I was told via text that my boyfriend ***************************** could take the appointment and get his GMC ****** detailed instead. My boyfriend proceeded with the appointment and I am the one who picked him up in my Jeep when he dropped off his truck that day and then dropped him off to pick up his truck also. I was charged $404.99 on 2/09/24 and I disputed with ***** who did take the balance off my credit card but reapplied it today saying that I benefited from the business and the charge is valid. My boyfriend can prove that he was charged for his truck and Im sure there are cameras from local businesses that can prove that me and my Jeep helped him to and from the detail appointment in July. I called and texted the business this morning asking for a refund and received no response. I want my $404.99 refunded immediately. I have not and will not ever take my Jeep to get detailed or worked on whatsoever at this business.Business Response

Im confused by this complaint. ***** left us a 5 star review after she used our services. To be told to stay away and use the term fraudulent borders defamation of character. To the subject of complaint, I spoke to ***** same day, showed her it was refunded, explained to her the billing error and reason also on the same day. To take it to the extreme like this is really quite absurd and just not true. I received services from Wicked Clean Cah back in 2023. Recently, on 2/27/24, I was charged $299 on my card despite not having requested any recent services. I reached out to the company by phone, the calls would never go through. I have texted the company about the charge and was told it was an error on their end and that they would fix it. They stated they have reversed the charges, but I still have not received reimbursement. I then received a nasty text from them thinking I was a different customer that provided a bad review. I told them they had the wrong customer and I was only seeking reimbursement. I have not received any response.Customer Answer

Purchased mobile car detailing scheduled for end of December and was contacted by owner that there was flooding and damage to equipment and I would need to reschedule for mid- January, no reschedule date was offered at that time. In mid January I reached out to the owner to inquire about appointment availability. I was then told nothing would be available until mid- February. Now that it is mid February I had to contact the owner again, as I was never contacted for an appointment. He then told me I needed to wait until March. I explained I am pregnant and I needed this done before March and that at this time the date had been pushed out so far that it was no longer convenient for me and I requested a refund. He states he does not give refunds and that this is outlined in his policies. I understand under normal circumstances but I think when my original appointment has been pushed out 2 months with no solid date offered to me a refund should be an option. On Dec 27th I used the business' website to prepay for an interior detailing job, scheduled for January 9th.
Some time before the appointment date, Chris called to inform me that his garage had been flooded and he would have to cancel the appointment and schedule for later. I told him I understood and that would be fine.
After over a month had passed with no word from Chris, I called to reschedule. He offered a date via text, but the date was no good for me, so I requested another date. This time, he insisted that I use his website to reschedule, which I refused, primarily because in order to schedule via his website, I would have to pay a minimum of $25, but I had already paid for the service. Furthermore, I felt that since we were in communication, and I had already been accommodating, he should simply add me to his schedule.
From then on my attempts to reschedule, or get a refund, were met with hostility and then silence. I have tried many times to reach him via calls and texts but to no avail. In my last text to him, I told him that his refusal to respond forces me to assume he is acting in bad faith and to respond with that understanding. That was several days ago, and so now I am filing this formal complaint with the BBB.
At this point, I would never do business with Chris C****** again, either for car detailing, or any other business with which he is associated.Customer Answer

My wife had purchased a gift certificate for a full interior and exterior detailing of my truck from Wicked Clean Cah. When I booked the appointment, for May 8th, 2023, I needed to pay a $25 fee to make the appointment. I provided my credit card information for booking this appointment. Although Chris and his team did a great job of detailing my truck, I saw a transaction of $309.99 in my bank account charging me for the job. I contacted Chris about this and he stated he was not aware of the gift certificate although I had provided this certificate number in one of our first texts. I provided him the certificate number again and expected the refund within a week. This was 6 weeks ago and still have not received the refund. After texting him several times in regard to this refund he has finally stopped responding to my texts.Business Response

Hi **** apologies for the delay. As I can see on my end you had already disputed this charge in July. And although you disputed more than you should have, we credited the entire amount. I don't understand what the desire to continue to make complaints about us when we've already done our part and your credit has been refunded. Please see the attachment.
