10/10/2024 Inertlogic had decided to remove some of their protection software way before the agreed upon date as we were moving onto a more expensive IT company for better service. This led into attacks on SpecPro from the owner of Inertlogic towards SpecPro. After a 12+ year business relationship the communication from ***** is both inappropriate and unwarranted.

SpecPro tried to drop off final payment to his office, which couldn't be done as the address leads to a UPS store. SpecPro communicated Inertlogic's final payment would be left in the front office at SpecPro to which he didn't pick up for week and weeks.

Fast forward to this week and Inertlogic still has had firewall software in our system still. Inertlogic should have been completely out of our system early October. Final payment has been waiting for weeks and weeks but yet they have still been in our system.

SpecPro is communicating with our attorney and IT consultant regarding this matter. The costs incurred should be reimbursed by Inertlogic.

    Date: 01/09/2025

    Good day -

We appreciate the time taken to evaluate this Better Business Bureau complaint and like any customer service issue, we take it very seriously.  Naturally, we find serious defects in the complaint received from the complainant *** **** ****** **.  We ask you to resolve/reject this quietly for two reasons:

First, this is an issue of collection of payment owed for goods or services provided.  The amount in controversy as stated by *** ****** ($940.42) is the amount owed to InertLogic with the (now well past-due) invoice attached for your reference.  By *** ******'s own admission, they acknowledge this as the final payment.  Better Business Bureau complaint acceptance guidelines do not cause it to act as a collection agency:  Reference:  ****************************************************************.

Second, the complainant **** ****** *** is not of sound mind.  He continues to act in irrational ways drastically exceeding the norm of what one would expect for a merely disgruntled former customer.  Again, as he acknowledged, he is actively driving around the city of Omaha looking for our CEO, *** ***** ******* in an attempt to harass and intimidate.  Further, when he has been unable to locate him in person, he constructed the above ruse story in order to lure *** ******* to his offices for unknown, perhaps nefarious reasons.   *** ******* is filing a no-contact protection order in Douglas County against *** ******, and perpetuating this behavior through the Better Business Bureau is both contrary to our desire, and the safety of our employees.

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful consideration, we stand by to answer any questions you may have.   Regards-

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: As stated in email, the purpose of driving to the businesses listed address was simply to drop of final payment. At no time did *** ****** request or ask as to whether *** ******* would be there or not.

The purpose of filing a complaint with the BBB is simply for Inertlogic to provide a way to "sign for" the final payment, they have yet to provide those directions with communication from someone within the SpecPro office other than *** ******, again trying to be done with this...

Secondly, Inertlogic was directed to be 100% out of SpecPro's computer system by a certain date, thus the attempt at delivering final payment in a timely manner to Inertlogic's office in an effort to make everyone whole by that particular deadline date. There have been many attempts to complete this final payment process with communication from SpecPro staff other than *** ******, Inertlogic's response has been no response.

SpecPro's only intent and effort has been to be completely done with Inertlogic's services, that is all. Inertlogic's hostage style tactics are uncalled for and intentional. The attacks on *** ******'s character will be defended through legal means if necessary.

    Sincerely,

    Specpro Inc.
