    I emailed FunPlex on June 18th at 21:59. Regarding seeing an employee of there's let in 10-15people on the North Side of the ********** so their friends or people not sure who they were but at either rate I emailed them bc it really made me mad that one of their employees allowed people to bypass paying and come have fun in the sun. When we paid for our 3 kids and my husband and myself to come. I emailed letting them know I felt it was wrong and that since free admissions could be just given away I felt it was only fair to be refunded our admission fees. Katie ******** responded back on 6/19 @ 1155 me asking for additional information to which I responded back on 6/20@12:51 w/info. Katie then responded that same day at 21:18 stating she would see if she could get some answers. I've heard nothing back and decided to follow it up here. I do not regret going there, it's just a slap in the face and very infuriating when people have tough times due to rising prices on everything and chose to swallow the cost to show our young kids a good time and then watch an employee let 10-15 people in at a side gate that we walked by on the way out and is totally not locked and accessible to anyone to just pull open and slide in. When we did it the right and honest way just like others that were there and paid to have family time.

    I was here when the young boy drowned. I will preface this by saying, i am trained in pediatric and adult CPR/AED/First aid. The lifeguards did all they could to revive the boy and they did not stop trying to resuscitate him like some people were saying. There is 4 life guards on duty in the wave pool and they’re constantly whistle blowing the kids climbing on ladders and going against the rules. This makes it difficult for them to watch everyone. However, my 1 star rating is around the customer service. That day we spent 15 minutes at full price for them to shut the park down. We could only get a rain check. That’s fine if the pool broke or a ride shutdown or the power went out. But for an incident like that, i’m not taking my child back there because i’ll just be reminded of the boy and feel extra worried if my kid runs off alone. What fun is that. So I decided i’m not going back for a while and wanted a refund. They refused because it goes against policy. As a business owner, I get you have to protect your business but when serious events happen, that’s what reserves are there for. So you can help the people and not take advantage of them. I’m not happy that I couldn’t get my $240 back and also sad for those people who were affected by the incident and couldn’t get there’s back either. We’re forced to go back so we can remember what happened and enjoy the park by worrying the whole time for our kids.
