    Purchase a monument over two years ago for Father in law and Mother in law and it was finally received and payment for remainder paid 04/07/2025. Was advised this will be set and was the next one on the list to be completed and would be set at ******** that week. Still has not been set.

    We are so sorry it has been taking longer than normal because of suppliers being so far behind. We hate it so bad for the families during this time of grief. 

    We set the monument in the cemetery on July 2, 2025. Our Boom Truck that we use to set monuments, has been tore up and is in the mechanic's shop. Because of the weight of the granite monument, we can't take monuments to the cemetery without the truck with a boom. 

    Sorry just now responding but we just got the BBB letter in the mail yesterday, July 14, 2025. It said on the envelope it was sent to wrong address. We use a PO Box for our mail. The address on the letter didn't have that. 

    Again, we sincerely apologize for the time frame it took to set the Shepherd's monument.

     I am rejecting this response because: The stone has several dirty spots where it looks like something spilled on it and several cracks.  Also, I do not accept the reason as I was told in April when I made the final payment that it would be installed within the next two days as we was next to set.  So the boom truck was not down.  Then we get a call telling us boom truck had been down since before March, last month (contradiction of what was told when final payment was paid).  Also, the funeral homes that are in the area purchased stones the same timeframe as we made our purchase and was completed within two months and set.  We are requesting as stated in the original filing a minimum of 75% refund due to these issues.

    Again, we are so sorry about this situation. Unfortunately, the suppliers are behind which makes us behind. We've no lied about anything. Our truck went in the shop on March 7th. And when we got the truck back, this family was one of 3 orders that we made sure we go them set in the cemetery immediately. 

    We would of liked the customer to contact us but they haven't at all. Not heard of anything wrong with the monument.

    The family had ask us to have it set in the cemetery by Aug. 17th, 2025 for Decorations (that is a mountain tradition like a homecoming.) We was able to get it set in the cemetery on July 2, 2025. 

    We would like to make things right. If there is something wrong with the monument, we would replace it.

     I am rejecting this response because: this is not a fact this was requested to be done about two years ago and the delays is incorrect.  The local funeral homes was able to accommodate and have these set within two months in the same timeframe that we purchased ours.  Also, when we made the final payment on April 7th, 2025 we was promised we would have this set within the next two days as we was the next on the list. And was shown the order already set on the desk of the person doing the setting of the monument.  No mention at time of any issues with the vehicle.  And we have not been even attempted to be contacted about getting this issue resolved.

    We can't answer for what funeral homes timeframe is. We just know what our suppliers and other companies in the industry are still having problems with getting orders out in a timely matter due to several factors in the industry. Since they have been behind, they are playing catch up and that will take awhile to get back to a reasonable time frame unfortunately. Which makes us behind as well. The worst part about that is for the families. A lot of people of been very understanding and have even made the comment that other type industries are still having the same problems. I know it's very frustrating because it has been to us. We wish the family would of contacted us with their dismay. Never heard anything from them. Nothing was said when we called to let them know that we had placed it in the cemetery. Since it was turned over to the BBB, we was told not to contact the family. 

    We would replace the monument if there is something wrong with it and make things right with that.

    With our truck being in the shop...that's totally out of our hands until the mechanic could get the parts on backorder and get it fixed. The mechanic was behind as well for this reason. 

    If it was as simple as picking the monument up and taking it, believe me, we most definitely would. As soon as we could set the monument, we did so.

     I am rejecting this response because: They still are not addressing the issue that we was told when final payment was made that it would be set within two days.  If the truck was in the shop at that time that should have been advised instead of being lied to.  This is unacceptable and a blatant lie. Why would we be told would be set within two days if the truck had been in the shop for two months prior. Total disrespect for the family to have been lied to like this.  Please refund in full if you want to continue to lie.

    I ordered a monument for my deceased husband in Jan. of 2023. I am still waiting for delivery.. I wasnt informed of how far behind they were until after the order. Theyre telling me now that it will be summer of 2024,

    We are so sorry it is taking longer than in the past. Which isn't under our control. Everyone in the industry is dealing with the same situation with it being a longer process than it used to be. Unfortunately there has been a lot more deaths since *****. It has put the industry far behind with the demand of orders. Once we can get the product to us, we will get the monument engraved and placed in the cemetery in a timely matter. The orders are done in the order they were placed. This is order can be on our next coming load of stone but that won't be until the end of June. Our last load came a week ago and it was orders that were placed in Nov-Dec 2022. It breaks out hearts that families are having to wait so much longer for their memorial for their loved ones.
