On 14 October I purchased a new Chevy truck from Wilkinson. At the time of purchase, I received 2M rewards points (screenshotted the points) & ordered some upgrades for my truck. After about a week or so while I'm waiting for my parts to be installed, the service manager comes out & tells me an error was made & that I'd have to pay for the parts outright or they'd have to remove the parts & I would have to deal with GM/Chevy about the points issue. I went on ******** & left a comment about what happened & after a few days received a response to my comment & to continue the discussion on messenger. After explaining the issue to the representative, they then informed me that it was an error & that the points were invalid. Since I'm a new customer & didn't know how their points system worked, I feel as if I'm being punished for their mistake. They tried to set me up with a new account after which it was canceled & we had to try again. After sending screenshots & messages, I was told a manager from their offline department would reach out to be. It was almost 2-3 weeks before I finally some with someone, after numerous attempts to contact someone, just got the representative to call me back & tell me that basically they're not going to honor my order & that I'm just going to have to deal with the mistake they made (paraphrasing but that was the gist of it). I stated that I'd just like to have the original parts I ordered be installed & that be that, but no, that is something GM/Chevrolet is willing to do.
