    On Saturday 12/18/2021, I visited the Nantucket Grill Bar in********, NC for the very first time. I was highly disappointed with the quality of food and how it made me feel afterwards. After this experience, I vowed never to return to this restaurant chain. I specifically ordered two of the lobster tail specials and a lobster roll. During this visit, my french fries were cold and I had the waitress to bring me fresh fries and that should have been a red flag. Approximately, 30 minutes after consuming my meal, I experienced the following symptoms: vomiting, watery diarrhea, nausea, severe stomach cramps, and headaches. Dealing with this serious digestive upset for 48 hours was extremely challenging because I had to consume mainly water and liquid. I am requesting a full refund and apology from the restaurant.

    To whom this may concern: On Dec 31, 2022 my experience at Nantucket Grille was horrible. The location of this establishment was **** ***** ***** **** ******** ** *****. The service was very poor and non- existent due to the waitress not wanting to serve our table because she felt nervous serving a large party of black people. The waitress lied on us and said we were picking on her, in which we did not at all but she was messing up orders and almost dropped hot soup on my one year old niece. We still gave her grace and chances. The manager of this establishment comes to our table about 15 minutes later and excuses me and my family of mistreating the waitress. There was no clear communication to us by the manager just false accusations uttered by her. Which made us feel very disrespected to be falsely accused of something based upon our color and not our actions. The manager also spoke to us and said drinks can not be comped even if we think its not made well. The manager also said if the food is not made to our preference and we want to send it back we still had to pay for it and then order something else. There was no signature up or disclosure stating this it was just the manager telling us this was the policy. Before the manager left our table she made it known to tell us the reason why our waitress was nervous is because we were black. How demeaning is that. To be treated like that. We paid for a service to be lied on and racially profiled I will never eat or do business with Nantucket grille **** ***** ***** **** ******** ** ***** again. Its sucks because this was a restaurant that was a tradition for us every year.
