      I am so fed up with ***, our strata is looking for an alternative service provider. We average about one missed pick-up every 8 weeks. (We get three separate pick **** garbage, recycling and compost) Either a new driver "forgot" us, or a driver "forgo" the garage fob, The latest is the fob wasn't working. (I've used the same fob with no battery change for four years!) Can The driver not phone a contact in the building when they can't get access. We are now 5 days overdue for our recycling pick up...all the residents have been asked to hang onto their recycling until this is resolved. That means when the bins are eventually emptied, they will fill up again within a few hours. We've also had this problem in the summer with our garbage pick-ups...asking people to keep their stinky garbage or compost for a week in the heat of summer is not too popular. . So I'm not told that someone will be sent this afternoon, but he'll be coming without the fob, which is back at the office, so I'm expected to sit here for the afternoon and wait.Service from ****** was generally good, but since GF: took over all we've had is newly painted bins and many missed pick-up

      If I could give 0 stars I would. I own a business and they pick up my garbage. They automatically renewed a contract for 5 YEARS at a price that is 4 TIMES the price of their competitor. When I tried to get out of it, they said I wasn't in the 90 days before the expiration of the contract (I was at 1.5 months). And when I tried to have a copy of the contract back in August 2024, they asked me why I wanted a copy and then never followed up with me. They are an absolute s*** company and I'm sure the ***** is involved. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER.

      GFL Environmental Services in ********* is a scam. I rented a waste removal dumpster and was told the charge was $325. No other charges were ever mentioned. I was told not to fill it all the way to the top. I rented it for one week. When the week was up no one came to get the dumpster, so I called GFL Environmental service, and they said they had no one to get it until Monday. I said I was only paying until Friday as that was our agreed upon date. The dispatcher said there would be no charge because they did not have anyone to pick it up until Monday. A month later I received a bill charging me for the extra days and extra weight of what I put in the dumpster. I put carpet in the dumpster and it only filled the bottom and they charged me $14.40 for it being overweight. Please be very cautious when using this company and watch everything they do.

      This business does not even deserve one star. Their customer service is horrible, and their level of professionalism is just as bad. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

      GFL environmental, **************, *********, service is refusing to pick up garbage back in alleys when the service has been provided for many years. **************** is unacceptable as the property is located on a hill with many stairs to get the container to their desired location for pick up. I have a physical handicap and not capable of hauling these large containers up and down stairs for safety concerns. This company is showing disrespect for their loyal customers. Im sure this complaint will go nowhere as major corporations do not really care for their customers who have disabilities. Hopefully, I can find another company that shows a little more caring attitude towards their customers.

      ********. Possibly crooked. Definitely not customer-oriented.THEY make a mistake that causes a problem with your payment and then they claim non-payment and confiscate your cans, even though it was their error. Then they wont redeliver your cans and resume picking up the trash/recycle unless you pay a redelivery fee of $45. Hello!!! It was THEIR error but WE have to pay for redelivery? Then, IF you manage to speak to a supervisor or to the corporate office, they will just agree with whatever the branch said. And no alternative in our area for trash collection services. So its them or drive it to the station ourselves. I wish I could give them zero stars. They are deplorable.

      *** is without a doubt the laziest company that the city could have hired for residential trash and yard waste services. They are constantly late picking up residential trash and painfully inadequate removing waste. When you call their customer service its always the same excuse, were behind in that route, were showing that was picked up, weve had bad weather, etc. Either way, they are not doing the job they are contracted to do.

      *** is a monopoly that never picks up my recycling. Its been 2 weeks and all I get when I call is that they are a couple days behind and it will be picked up by Sat 7:30PM. Didn't even ask where I lived... and customer service is horrendous. I wish there was someone else to use for trash and recycling pickup. I am just going to start throwing my recycle in the trash can from now on since they actually come. This is a scam we PAY for!!!!

      I was with Waste Management then GFL bought them out in my area. I received NO notices from either GFL or WM. After a few months of not receiving any bills I reached out to WM whom advised *** now holds account. *** has some random mailing address listed for me, its is not mine, not what was listed with WM, no idea where they got it from. It causes me to not receive my bills or any notifications. *** requested they correct it, no answers as to where they got it, owners of address have contacted me stating they have sent back every letter advising I do not reside there with no action to date. Its been going on a few years and still to this day they have incorrect address. On top of that, their bill amounts are different each invoice. Every invoice is an increase and unfortunately this company bought out all others in area so I have no other options outside going to closest trash dump. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF POSSIBLE.

      So many times I come home on garbage/recycle day and find my recycling bin blocking my driveway. Are these truck drivers told to throw the recycling bin in the driveway after they dump it or is the guy a jerk or grade 4 flunky, I mean its just as easy to toss it onto the grass. Sometimes they just leave the bag on the road to blow away in the wind. Once I actually lost my bag in the wind and ordered a new one. The lazy dumb a** that delivered the new one just tossed it out his window at the end of my driveway so it could blow away too. Luckily I saw this and went out and picked it up. But wow, where do they get such useless lazy people from?
