I've attempted to cancel my membership for the past two years. The only mechanism to cancel is by submitting a form on the website. Sadly, the company does not respond to these cancelation requests, as a result my credit card continues to be charged. There is no other way to contact the company such as an email address or phone number. ****** the company wants to make it impossible to cancel memberships.Initial Complaint

GolfNet / USHandicap started off by offering handicap services that linked to the *** (including ***ID). In November, the ***ID was found "inactive" in the **** system without any notification from GolfNet. When calling GolfNet regarding this issue, there's no answer of phonelines. ultimately receiving message the line was disconnected. Also, emails sent to the support account go without responses. I want to cancel membership as it's coming up for "Auto renewal" in April but GolfNet has yet to reply to any emails. The services I paid for was not renderedInitial Complaint

I used this golf handicap application for a couple of years with no issue. The begin of 2022 there was an issue with the app and I made several attempts to contact the company by email (only option given to reach them) with no success. I continue to get charged $29.95 ever year. I am currently trying to work with my bank to get this rectified, but I believe someone should be looking into this company.Initial Complaint

This company continues to renew the subscription and charge my credit card even though several requests were submitted to cancel the subscription. The site indicates that a request for cancellation must be submitted prior to the annual renewal month. I submitted a request in December/January time frame to cancel. March is my renewal month, and my credit card was charged again for an annual subscription. Additionally, when you submitted a request, there is no confirmation email or message to indicate your request. It just states that a trouble ticket was submitted. No follow up. This is now the second year I have tried to cancel.Initial Complaint

US Handicap does not offer any support to cancel your subscription. This seems to be an ongoing issue for the past several years. It is a complete scam.Initial Complaint

This "Golfnet Handicap & Tournament Software" operation is certainly a scam. I signed on with US Handicap/Golfnet a number of years ago because I needed an established handicap, and GHIN was unavailable to me because I wasn't affiliated with a recognized golf club. I thought I was receiving accurate handicapping information, and no one ever questioned the information I provided until recently.
Given that I am now affiliated with a local golf club, I asked the club pro to register me with GHIN, and so I had no more use for being connected to this US Handicap/Golfnet organization. Knowing that my renewal date was coming up in a few months, I tried to cancel my affiliation with US Handicap. But I found out very quickly that the design of this little scheme was such that cancellation is virtually impossible.
Going to "Support" and trying to submit a "ticket" for cancellation is worthless - no response whatsoever. Calling the listed phone number sends you to a recording that the number is not in service. Attempts to go to the website (for me, at least) resulted in "error" messages and no contact.
The bottom line is that whoever set this up in the first place has a tidy little scam going that results in regular payments from credit card companies. And it is a major pain for a credit card user to block these payments. A credit card company will not act to block a future charge unless a complaint about a current charge is filed in a timely manner, and it should be noted that this Golfnet organization was clever enough to plainly state that they do not provide refunds. So, I will be stuck for one more charge of $29.95 in a couple of months. But you can be assured that I will be contacting my credit card company the day that charge posts to inform them that I demand that a block be initiated. I have already had a conversation with them about that.
I also plan to contact the NC Attorny General's office. Hopefully legal action can be taken against whomever is responsible.Initial Complaint

USGA Golfnet doesn't have support for cancellation, yet they continue to charge my credit card annually. I have been trying to cancel this service for a couple of years. There's no active phone number and they don't respond to support requests for cancellation. The company should be held accountable for commercial business malpractice and fraudulent collection of money from consumers.Initial Complaint

GolfNet US Handicap is an online golf handicap tracker. I am unhappy with the service and simply want to cancel my auto-renew. Months before my renewal date, I tried multiple methods to cancel. Submitted Support Requests, no response. Emails, no response. The Cancel button on the app does nothing. The phone number is out of service. The renewal date arrived and yes, I was auto-charged. I have disputed the charge with my credit card but this should not be necessary. Based on my findings, I am not alone in this. How can this be allowed? Isn't stealing money against the law? This is a scam and those responsible are criminals. What can be done?Initial Complaint

Golf net offered a handicap software tracking business.. This company ceased to maintain my handicap in September 2022. They then charged my credit card with an automatic renewal on October 11, 2022. I made several attempts to contact company. Their telephone number does work, there is no recourse on website to cancel etc. I performed more research and found several complaints on file regarding this company fraudulent practices.
