    I booked a duck **** for myself and daughter for 1/16/05 with this outfit on 12/27/04 while speaking with **** **** on the phone. We had f/u texts to set date, time, place, & let him know we were staying the night in a hotel in ******** the night of Jan. ******* for paying for the trip, **** told me "you can pay after you harvest your birds." I thought it was odd. I usually pay guided duck hunts half up front.Stayed the night in ******** Jan 15th, touched base with **** in the **** on the 16th & we arrived at the meet location at 6:00 a.m , 15min early. **** was late, showed up after 6:30..First shot was 6:46. We followed **** (together with two other vehicles with hunters). Got to the **** sight after 6:46 anf there was no water anywhere. Just scalped soy bean field.Saw **** ride out to another truck a few hundred yards away that was setting a swan decoy spread. **** returned and asked, "do you want an all-white bird to mount, or are you looking for one with some gray in it?"....I asked - what kind of **** is this because I booked a duck ****. He looked at his phone and said, "this is a swan ****, I don't see you listed as either a duck **** or a swan ****, sorry." I told him - we don't even have swan permits, I'm the ******** guy here for a duck **** we arranged.He said "well I drive to ******** all the time it's not that far you've got time ....we only duck **** on the river." He got short and argumentative with me trying to make excuses for himself. I said - that's the best you can do is say sorry after we put in all this time and money getting here and using paid time off for a blown day?....then turned to my daughter and said let's go there's nothing left to be said to this gentleman. We left. Didn't hear anything else from **** although I requested in writting a refund for money we lost on the blown trip - hotel $218.96, lost paid vacation $332.00, gas $30.00.I have the phone record, texts, and hotel/ gas email receipts if they won't transmit.
