East Carolina Metal Roofing Seamless Gutters gave me an estimate for replacing my gutters and fascia on my home. The owner went over in detail about his products, the quality vs other companies and the work he would do on my home. He explained in detail his gutter covers how they were superior to what the rest of the gutter people used in this area and how much they cost per ft. and so his price for the job was a good deal. His workers did a good job on my home, worked hard all day and the gutters and fascia look nice when they finished, but they did NOT install new gutter covers on my new gutters. I questioned why and was told that was not part of the bid. I identified the owner had gone over details how good they were, so I was led to believe this was part of the installation. They competed the work explained to me except for repairing one down spout and NOT installing the new gutter screens. I also talk to another builder who was out of state, but has been to my home many times and he said for what I paid he would have drove here and done the job. My recommendation is if you use this company get all work in writing so there is no issue on what is to be done and also get another bid which was my lesson learned.
