      I had a large maple that was next to my neighbors’ fence and leaning over into his property and would have caused damage to his property if it fell.
      I obtained 5 estimates and chose Chris T*** (owner Kerf Lawn & Tree). He was priced very close to 3 of the estimates (I felt the other 2 were extremely high in price).
      The reason I chose him was that he discovered that one of the huge sections of the tree was hollowing out and rotting from the inside which the other companies completely missed.
      Since this was a tedious job to cut the tree from the “top down” (so that it didn’t not fall and damage my neighbor’s property) and since he took more time with me explaining how he would take down the tree, dispose, and clean up … I felt comfortable that he was very good and hired him.
      Chris was indeed professional and personable. And the job was well done, completed in a timely manner, and the clean-up was excellent.
      My brother immediately hired him for a similar job.
      I will recommend Chris T*** to anyone.
