I wanted to reach out before the program ends to express my concerns and request a partial refund of $500. Ive worked hard to stay on top of my studies and will likely pass the program, but I dont think the training I received fully matched what was offered considering the $3,149 investment made.I have mentioned multiple issues that affected the quality of our learning experience a while back including:- Inconsistent instruction and curriculum delivery between two teachers - Delays at the start of class, cutting into our hands-on time - Inadequate clinical instruction due to only one instructor being available for 12 students - Missing or insufficient equipment during labs (e.g., for root canal therapy)- A lack of externship support many of us had to find our own placements through social media or through people we knew, even asking other students - A poorly structured x-ray practical that caused students to miss out on other planned training - Signs of favoritism from an instructor I understand some issues may have been out of the academy and instructors control, but it still impacted our ability to learn essential skills for a dental assistant. While there may have been an effort to improve things later on, were at the end of the program and much of the learning experience feels rushed or ************* asking for this refund not out of anger but out of fairness. I plan to put the money towards my **** CDA exams that Ive begun to prepare for on my own since unfortunately, I was refunded $130 before classes started when I was told I wouldnt receive the **** RHS Review that was previously agreed upon through this program.

I will not rehash the detailed communication that has taken place between ****** ***** and Accelerated Academy over the past several weeks.

Instead, Id like to focus on a resolution. While I appreciate the feedback and acknowledge the gap between perceived value and program delivery, our priority is to address the matter constructively. To that end, I am approving a $500 refund. Additionally, if desired, Accelerated Academy will offer personalized job placement assistance through our career services team. I genuinely believe that with the same level of persistence and effort you've demonstrated throughout this process, you will find success in the dental field.

The only request I make is that the 1-star ****** Review be removed. Once that has been done, our finance team will process the refund promptly.

False advertisement from Accelerated Academy what they promised they didnt deliver. I feel very unprepared to enter the dental field with the lack of education provided by this school. They removed a bulk of the learning material and still charged the same 3 thousand dollar tuition. The location they selected to do clinical was below subpar the software was outdated which caused a lot of restarting of equipment only to not be able to learn because it happened nonstop every single class. We spent more time rebooting the system than learning. I failed the most important exam because this and the lack of teaching that was provided. It feels like their just after the money because contacting student support didnt yield in any results all they told us was keep retaking the tests and exam until we got them right. I bought extra supplies i.e text books, typodonts, study guides and it still wasnt enough to offset the lack of education provided. Multiple classmates felt the same if not worse. There was so many other programs that offered this program for way less I chose accelerated academy due to their money back guarantee and the instructors told us the school will do ANYTHING to get out of giving said refund which makes this sound even more so like a SCAM. Lastly the way this program was advertised it made it seem like if we didnt successfully graduate we would be refunded 100% once I asked thats when they story changed Ive provided screenshots to support

I am rejecting this response because:
The only reason I had a passing grade is because one the next chapters wont open until you make a passing score two we were allowed and advised to take and retake exams and quizzes so me going to the next part wasnt due to the knowledge I learned but do to fail and error. Furthermore their system is rigged to where you pass the course even know youve learned nothing. All we did during clinicals is talk about how awful these offices are and how these dentist dont respect new comers into this field and the only reason they reopened the final exam is to justify NOT refunding my money also the way its advertised it doesnt say you have to pass the program it just simply said if your NOT successful in the program ie I dont know anything outside of vocabulary words which means I cant be successful in this field.

I attended this course from January 2024-march 2024, in that time this course was very misleading. Our lecture time was only instructors reading slides and making us copy them word for word. Clinicals were non existent almost and we had 14 people all sharing the same mannequin head. We had very little hands on experience and were held back from practicing more things we wanted. Never showed how to bag for sterilization. Only one of our instructors showed up to all the classes, the other one would miss to go to her sons baseball games since class was on Saturdays. We had very little instruments to practice with and everything we did have was not sterilized properly. The certification had to be printed off at home which is a joke, and the career services DO NOT help you. I have wasted my time and money on this course just to go to interviews and they have no knowledge of this course. Its not accredited so many offices just overlook the applications. This course does not properly prepare you to work in this field and without a dentist present for this whole course, you cant actually practice how its going to feel in real mouths. The only real thing we did was pass instruments and floss each other. If I would have known the outcome going into this course I would have put my time and money into a better course with a more positive outcome. They also lied about wages going into this field.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We regret that you feel the course did not meet your expectations. Please be assured that we take our students' concerns seriously and continuously make necessary adjustments to enhance the experience for future students.

We are pleased to share that many of your classmates felt well-prepared to begin their careers as dental assistants and satisfied with the hands-on clinic. We intentionally design our course to prepare students for the dental assistant workforce through job shadowing and on-the-job training to ensure they receive the necessary instruction. While the sterilization practices must be covered through job shadowing and is ultimately the responsibility of the student, our *************** Coaches are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm to help.We have multiple relationships with doctor offices in the *******, ** area and will also assist with resume building, interview questions and expectations. We have always been proactive to forge relationships with dental practices in the area in which we operate. Based on student feedback from our Spring 2024 term, we provided an additional mannequin to this location so students could have 2 mannequins to accommodate the growing class size. Additionally, weve made certificates available online based on student feedback. We found they prefer the speed and convenience of online certificates when needing to forward to potential employers.

After carefully reviewing all relevant details and considering our refund policy, we have determined a refund is not applicable in this case. We would like to confirm that you have received our service in full and your Dental Assisting certificate, as agreed.

Thank you again for your input. It helps us immensely in our efforts to enhance the program.

    All the best,

    Accelerated Academy
