After losing my job, I tried to work with this organization, but after I made a reasonable offer to restore my account after getting a new job making more money, they still refused to work with me, Instead of accepting the offer, they insisted on filing for eviction after ten days of being late, as is their right. I kindly advised them that this just simply sows ill will since I was prepared to make things right. However, after the eviction hearing, they accepted the original offer that I made. The eviction hearing served no purpose but to cost me court fees and make me lose a day of work. They accepted my offer and I made everything right. In order to ensure that everything was right, I asked for receipts for all monies paid. This request was made in the middle of May. After seven (7) emails, they finally agreed to scan copies of the receipts and send them to me, only after I threatened to contact the ***** Previously, they had said they had taped the receipts on my door, but the weather must have blew them away.. I considered scanning the documents or mailing them to me a more than reasonable request, but they refused, even admitting they don't own a scanner. I should never have to request receipts more than once and they should have the capability of sending these to me upon demand, even it it simply is through the postal service. It took almost two months to get receipts to my email and they were poor copies of papers leaned up against a keyboard. I am still waiting to get them through the mail. This company insists on having their rent paid by money order and will not deliver receipts unless you come by their office, which is only open four (4) days a week from 9am-1pm. They thrive on exploitation of people who cannot do better and do not know better and these are all shady business practices. I would avoid them at all costs. In addition, maintenance is mediocre at best.. it took then three (3) days to have someone look at my AC that was not working.
