            Please see attached details regarding my complaint. I am a single 74-year old woman. I am not destitute, but I am certainly not in a position to purchase, or replace, a 5-year old awning. All I asked was for a knowledgeable person (NOT JUST THE ***** MANAGER) at Custom Canvas Works to inspect my awning. The subject a repair charge was never mentioned. I was just told it could not be repaired. No further explanation given. My electrician from Streamline (the have serviced my home for the past 7 years) was kind enough (free of charge) to inspected the wiring leading to the Awning. He advised that everything electricity wise was working properly and power was going through the motor. The remote control engaged, but not enough to retract the awning, up or down. However, he was not able to get to the motor because the awnings mechanics would have to be disassembled and he was not comfortable to do so without, possibly, causing further damage.
