            Took a ****** Pathfinder to this business due to having some shaking going on. They said it was the motor mounts and charged us $1,342 to fix the vehicle. We got the vehicle back but noticed every once in awhile we still felt the shaking. Some time had passed and we needed an oil change so we took the *** back up to TAG and mentioned we still felt shaking occasionally but it wasnt a major issue but could they look at those motor mounts. They did a diagnosis and found it wasnt the motor mounts at all but the transmission. They quoted us $9,000 for a new transmission. I explained it was hard to justify that amount for a car that is 10 years old and has over 150K miles on it. They suggested a transmission service as something that *** extend the life of the vehicle at a cost of $279. Since we already spent $1,300 on the issue, for the initial wrong assessment, we figured the $279 was worth a shot. After picking the car up after the work was done, after hours due to scheduling, we found the issue not only was not solved but the car was basically not drivable. The shaking had become much worse than when we originally dropped it off. The vehicle has become worthless. We went from having a reliable, every day work vehicle that was being driven back and forth to downtown ******* daily to having to spend tens of thousands of dollars on another vehicle by the next Monday in order to have transportation to work. After calling and talking to them explaining I didnt feel comfortable paying them the $300 for basically destroying the vehicle they tried talking me into the $9,000 replacement saying they would discount that work by the $300. I tried connecting with the owner but he was suddenly AWOL and after roughly ***** tries I have not heard back. I asked on multiple occasions that the owner contact me but they stopped correspondence. The manner in which this happened has us feeling like we were taken advantage of and are now looking for resolution/reimbursement.

            Not Ethical Practices!! Not **************** Focused If I could give less than one (1) star I would. Folks who have given one (1) for their exp at T.A.G had reviews that contained comments like: single women dont use these people, did they see me coming?, and Avoid at all costs. Seems TAG operated with integrity when it was under the management of *****, about 5 years ago. I went to T.A.G. (4/23) alone as a woman and had a great conversation with **** (tech), I was well informed, and he seemed to be transparent about the services they offered and what might be beneficial for my vehicle. He advised me not to get a certain service b/c of the mileage of the car. I enjoyed our conversation and he seemed very reputable, and I felt like I could trust TAG to run a simple diagnostic test on my vehicle, of which I was quoted in person as $129.00. Fine May 1, I used the early drop off service (7am) AND signed the **************** Customer form. The form asks for simple information about what needs to be done as well as a MUST sign part w/stipulations outlining how much youd like to spend and if the cost goes over that amount, you will be contacted, and your phone number. Needless to say, I was NOT contacted before being almost double charged for a diagnostic test that I was quoted as being $129. While in the shop I was initially speaking with ****, then another employee **** took over the conversation by trying to overtalk **** and myself. He was flat out rude and kept overtalking me until I asked that he stop. He stated **** doesnt know about hydraulics, but I responded when he did know he or a rep from the shop could have contacted me. **** apologized for not contacting me, but **** continued to be rude and condescending and interrupting. I continued to explain that it would have been customer service centric to have a simple courtesy phone call to let me know what was going on and not to be blindsided with the almost doubled charges. I left to never return.
