Purchased a metal building in 2022 for storage. After cleaning it out with plans to use it as an office I realized the roof is leaking in several different places. Reached out to the company that sold the building and they stated I needed to open a "workmanship claim" with no information on how to do so and with who. I have tried contacting ting the contact without much luck.Business Response

We are writing in response to the complaint filed by Mr. **** ****** regarding a roof leak on his metal building. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our role in this transaction.
USA Metal Structures is a verified vendor of metal buildings; however, we do not manufacture, install, or perform any construction-related work on the buildings we sell. The contract for Mr. Baileys building, which he signed, is with C&A Metal Structures, the company responsible for manufacturing and installing the structure. As such, any repairs or work orders must be directed to C&A Metal Structures, as they are the contracted party for installation and warranty services.
We have previously communicated this information to Mr. ****** and have provided him with the necessary details to contact C&A Metal Structures for resolution. We understand the importance of customer satisfaction and have done our best to assist Mr. ****** by directing him to the appropriate party responsible for handling his concerns.
Please let us know if any further clarification is needed. We appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I was never informed of who the contractor was that I needed to context nor was I provided with any contact information. I have since tried to call several times ************** the one contact I located in my email and there is no answer and the voicemail is full so no way to leave a message. I would not recommend purchasing from this company as you are on your own when the building starts falling apart.Initial Complaint

Responded to a ******** ad advertising metal garages from Mastertech Buildings in April 2024. ********** was very responsive on filling our order of a 30x40 metal garage. The garage was to be mostly white with the wainscoting in black. The 3 roll up garage doors we ordered in black as well. We were presented with the digital design, signed off on it without issue and put in our deposit. We were asked to reach back out once our site was ready. We were ready for install mid June. Reached out to ********** to let them know we were ready. That is when we were introduced to C&A Metal Structures. ********* sent us the garage plans so we could get our building permit. She told us it wouldnt be until the beginning of ****** before we could install. We thought okay no big deal its just a solid month and agreed. It was during that conversation that ********* was going over our order that she mentioned the door color was white. We told her right away it should be black as stated on our purchase order. She said okay let me get with my boss and I will let you know. Well days and weeks go by with no answer. I as well as my husband repeatedly called C&A all the way up to ****** regarding the door situation. We were told they got it right and we would have our black doors. The evening before install we were told they were bringing white doors. The garage was installed ****** 16. We refused the white doors and the owner was contacted as we told him we were not paying for the doors at all. He gave us his word he would be back in 2 weeks to install the doors. The 2 weeks have now turned into 9 weeks. We even had another day he told us he would be here. Took the day off work and he never showed up. What he does do is give you the most BS excuse every time he decides he wants to communicate with you. We have not contacted him anymore as of last week when he told us the next BS story. Now our doors are apparently in ***** on someone elses garage. Get real! C&A is the worst business!Customer Answer

************* is a sales company. They then send orders to another company in my case C&A metal structures. I paid my deposit 6 mos ago. C&A did not have engineered drawings for what I purchased from Quality Steel. That delayed the process 2 months. I had to call Quality Steel several times to get C&A to call me back and eventually get my drawings that were supposed to take 2 weeks. I then had to get the slab poured to their specs. This delay is on MY end not their fault. C&A his horrible bout answering their phones. 90% of the time goes to voice mail, and most of the time their voice mail is full so cannot leave a message. They then most of the time never call you back anyway. I was first estimated an install the middle of July. As that got closer, they moved it to July 27th(i called to confirm). When i called on July 24th to ask if i could change they order of my doors they rescheduled me to August 14th (not related to door changes which they said can happen on site, no notification needed) . On August 10th a new company called me. They said C&A Subcontracted to them. and they needed to schedule me an install date. I explained i already had one. they said "No you don't, that's why I'm calling you". They then scheduled me for Sept 5th or 6th. They were a No Call No Show. I started calling everyone on sept 6th to find out where my garage is. NO ONE would answer their phone. Eventually i got ahold of the 3rd company by calling a number they called me on which i believe is an employee's private cell phone and was twice promised a call back. I never got one. C&A will not answer their phones. It is 7 days after no call no show no garage. I asked for my deposit back from Quality Steel. They said they will NEVER give my deposit back under any circumstances. I have paid ******* to Quality Steel and ****** to C&A for Drawing mods. C&A also bills under GLZ Metal Structures. Worst customer experience ever! I want my money or a garage. I have neither and no communication.Customer Answer

I have heard from the business but they are refusing to resolve my complaint. They promised me an install within a week and that week has come and gone and I did not get an install. I still do not have an install date and they're refusing to give a refund and to let me seek other options.Initial Complaint
