  On July 10 before midnight, my car was repossessed by my lienholder Santander consumers. I woke up the next morning to not having my car however Id contact them and they gave me the number to Resolvion to make an appointment to pick up my belongings. Resolvion which would provide me the address and location and appointment time to pick up my possessions in my car and to also drop off my key so they dont have to cut a key. Resolvion then gave me the phone number to the third-party which was Fantum Recovery Fantum Recovery didnt open until 11 AM Friday morning which was July 11. Theyre only open to the public from 11 AM to 4 AM. I called them to set my appointment to also pick up my belongings, hoping that I could do so on that Friday and they told me that they dont do same-day appointments and also that theyre not open on the weekend which I was so surprised cause Im like how am I supposed to get my things? How am I supposed to bring you the key? The lady then told me on the recorded line that everything will be fine. Just bring your key in Monday morning which was the f July 14 and that my appointment was at noon. I did everything they asked me to do I drop my key off. I got my possessions out the car and I later return that week to pick up my car no problems. They left my car a little dirty, but I was just happy to get my car back a month later I discovered that a three extra $305 was added on to my car payment and then ask the receptionist from *********. Where did this extra money come from and they told me that a key had to be cut from my car and I was like frustrated because I dropped my key off you when they told me to so then I had to put out a claim with Resolvion which denied my claim stating that I provided my key four days later and that they already had a key for my car on the same exact day. I didnt get an extra key for my car I only got the key back that I had provided.. Im not paying for an extra key that was never given to me..

  They are in charged with getting you the information for where your vehicle is located after you have paid for your repossession. And have been confirmed the repossession has been released. They make it super complicated to just go and get your vehicle. They state they need to know where the vehicle is before they can release the information to you ? Mind you the company that took the vehicle has already sent the repo fees and confirmed the vehicle has already been there.When I called the lender back she told me it should take 1 hour tops . They state it can take up to 48 hours to release the information they already have? How are there not laws in place to protect people against repossession ? Like a letter and being able to pay for it the vehicle on spot. Dealing with companies who mismanage your private information should be illegal .

  We understand the frustration from the customer due to their unfortunate circumstances. However, we have a procedure in place to ensure all reporting requirements of a repossessed vehicle is properly completed prior to the customer redeeming their vehicle. This process can take up to 24 hours for completion however we do try to have it completed as soon as possible after a vehicle has been recovered. It has been communicated to our post recovery department to escalate scenarios such as this one sooner than later to prevent frustrations from the consumer.

  Will not anwser phone took my car with all of my stuff including my work badge in it and I cannot get a hold of anyone. They need to be sued

  Resolvion is a national repossession management company. Our company is only involved with the management of the recovery of collateral for lenders. We do not physically repossess any vehicles. Resolvion assigns the repossession order to a local repossession agent. 

  Please provide clarification if you were are attempting to reach Resolvion or the local repossession agent and what hours were you attempting contact.  Resolvion business hours are 8 am - 8 pm est.  Resolvion does not dictate the local repossession agent hours of business.
