    I purchased a replacement **** unit from this company. On their quote they gave the rebate amount that they were filing to ************ After not receiving the rebate 2 weeks after the rebate period I followed up with ****. **** informed me that the **** unit did not meet the specs for their rebate. I followed up with Apex heating and air they tried to renegotiate me to a 2 year service package instead of the $825 they filed the rebate for. I declined and asked them to honor the amount I was told. They agreed to refund the money themselves and a check would be in the mail. No check has arrived and they have stopped responding to any form of communication.

    I mailed a check to Mr. **** on 8/26/25 for $825.00. We have also spoke on the phone and he has received the check. He does want any further action taken. He was not aware at the time of the complaint that we were in the process of preparing the check. He is a valuable customer and apologize for the error. The matter is resolved.
