  I came to Ace with a friend to purchase some plumbing parts. I believe it was August 15th. My friend also purchased a chainsaw and chainsaw accessories. I checked out on the middle resister while my friend checked out on the far left register. After I finished I waited next to the register where my friend was at. As a young female employee rang up his items. My friend told her that someone brought a chainsaw up for his purchase. So she retrieved it from the back counter. She asked for an Ace Rewards number and the 2 numbers my friend gave did not work. I suggest they just use mine and move on, which is what happened. My friend had scanned his tap to pay and after the girl finished scanning everything she printed a receipt and we left. On the 17th of August while at work I was contacted by a man named ******************. He was very polite and told me there was a problem with my chainsaw that I purchased from them. Very confused I expressed that I have never purchased a chainsaw from them and the only saw I own is used from a garage sale. He then asked if I bought one for a landscaping business when I informed him that I work in a completely different industry. He then apologized for the disturbance after heard work radios in the background. Fast forward to the 19th I recieve a text from ************************* who tells me that I have a couple hours to pay for a stolen chainsaw or he is calling the police. I then call **** to tell him I never bought a chainsaw and he informs me that is because I stole it. He then starts cursing a threatening to put my name and picture on social media to defame me. After screaming and yelling at me he hangs up. After the police arrived at my door it was found the the clerk did not scan the chainsaw that my friend purchased. I'm fearful that this business uses there Rewards program and security cameras as weapons instead of legal tools. If there was a mistake on ***'s part and I wasn't involved, please stop harassing me.

  This matter is being handled by the ******** ***************** and the Montana Department of Criminal Investigation. I will refer you to Officer Weeks of BPD and Agent ********************* ************.  Both ********************* and his cousin *************************** were issued trespass notices and are not allowed on any Kings ACE Hardware properties.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  This is a lie I was never issued any trespass. Officer ***** informed me of the mistake the Ace Hardware employee made when she forgot to ring up the chainsaw that was purchased under my rewards number. I have done nothing wrong, I was not involved in this transaction and will not stand for the harassment and defamation.
