    WARNING: Avoid Roto Rooter - ***************** Flooded Our Home ****** Roto Rooter 8/21/25 to fix rocking toilet at my mother's house. Technician ******* took 7 HOURS and left huge gaps around toilet base. Charged $720 for terrible ********* day: ALL water fixtures gurgling/leaking, back bedroom flooding. ****** Roto Rooter - they sent field manager ***** and restoration crew.After multiple visits, drain specialist found WHITE SHOP TOWEL stuck in pipe causing all the flooding. ***** confirmed towel was from their Cintas inventory and ******* likely left it covering the drain opening during original service.Asked for partial refund since their negligence flooded our home. Branch manager ****** ******* offered "Maybe $100" and said he wouldn't be allowed to do more.****** owner ****** ******** office multiple times. Staff was rude and dismissive. Final rep ****** owner ****** ******** office multiple times. Staff was rude and dismissive. One call was purposefully disconnected. Final rep ******* said owner knew of the situation but essentially did not care enough to overrule ****** *******. When I questioned their disrespectful treatment, she said "Well if you keep overtalking me and cutting me off, I am going to end this call" and told me to "take the $100 and move on."22+ days dealing with this nightmare. Hotel costs for ruined family vacation, potential insurance claims, water damage throughout house - all because technician forgot his shop towel in our plumbing.Their response? Take $100 and shut up.Avoid Roto Rooter, especially branches owned by ****** ****** (Jackson *** Hickory NC, *********** IN). Find local plumbers who actually stand behind their work.

    They tried to sell me $4200 broken pipe that I did not have got a 2nd person to fix they still charged me $393 for nothing. Did not have a broken pipe they did not clean up the water in my dish washer and still kept all my $393! The second company cleaned the pipes and cleaned up the water for $240.00 and I have not had a problem since. Roto-Rooter wanted to drill in my house for a broken pipe and I would have had a problem then. I have tried to get my money back and they have not got back with! DO NOT USE THEM! All of this after I told them my husband at recently died and I didn't what to do! That was what they do to a widow looking for help!!!!!!!!!!
