      I was not informed that I would be charged $100/day for storage if the driver could not deliver the vehicle before the body shop closed for the weekend.

      Good afternoon this customer called us to this accident we tow it to ****** collision after we towed it there he called and said he was not turning it into insurance cause he had already turned in a accident not long before this so we went back and moved it back from ****** collision to our lot he then sold the truck to a salvage yard he was charge 3 days of storage when we really have then truck until 07/25/25 we did not charge him for all those days

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I clearly requested that the vehicle should be delivered to ****** Collision, who shares the same lot with GT Tow. I doesn't matter if I turned the matter over to insurance. I was expecting a quote from ****** for the cost of repairs. ****** does not charge me for storage on their lot.

      It is utter nonsense that GT would suggest they could have or should have charged me additional days. The GT response to BBB shows exactly how opportunistic and underhanded the company really is.


      I feel I should be refunded $300 for the three days of storage that I never approved. I also feel I deserve an apology for unclear communication by GT on the pick up day.

      i am very sorry you feel that way we rent our lot and we can only move to there side when they take them when they knew you where not turning it into insurance they had us take the check back top them and move it back we only charge 3 days storage when we could have charged you the full amount for all the other days it was there and we did not do that even if they would have kept it at ****** they would have charge you storage just as they would have if you would  have turned it into insurance no shop or tow lot has free storage.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      ****** informed me that there would be no storage charges as I determined the best way forward.


      The fact remains that I was never informed that I would be charged nor informed how much I would be charged for the first three days of storage. This is terrible business practice. I think a partial refund would be appropriate.
