    On April 29th 2025 my apartment had a leak from a Crack in the foundation along the window sill. I had insurance that would have replaced my property and fix the apartment. That was denied as the management told insurance I left my window open there was no damage and there never was a pipe burst. I was told April 29th that the window would be called and boarded up. Nothing has been done. I used popsicle sticks and crack foam. MAY 24&25,2025 my bathroom sink pipe busted with management not answering my call for help. 24 of may was not as serious as May26. I had 3 -4 inches of steady water flow. For over 4 hours cause management didn't find it to be serious enough to answer. When the police called she answered knew the seriousness of the situation. She nor maintenance showed up! Building Inspector condemed the apartment below me and mine. He was fear that the floor would fall in. Water went through our outlets light fixtures. So it was all a hazard. On May 29th with only 2 facets being replaced both apartments were *********** license plumbing or electrical personnel was used. No plumbing was replaced.on may 29th I had water on floor things was plugged in the outlets in the water. The smell from. All the moisture made it difficult for me to breathe. I have Lupus sle renal failure copd asthma seizures. While calling 911 I fell unconscious. I had no running water. Since may 29 ive asked over and over to have my floors replaced cause you can smell the mold . I was told and everyone i asked for help was told by management there is no water damage that it was not a pipe bust but a leak. That I have no damage. Nobody dryer the unit. So my floors are falling apart and my subfloor has a blanket of mold my baseboards are harboring mold.this apartment complex is incompetent to do repairs or maintaining a safe habitat. I lost bedding and sheets blankets pillows couch love seat ect. Had insurance but management stopped that with deception manipulating the situation

    I have contacted the multi family Hud. This company is not following any codes and I know 7 apartment units with mold and leaks not pipe busted as I had. I also have a air conditioner with mold it blows out mold clusters. They do not repair anything

    I want to thank the BBB for helping me resolve this situation.  The owners has moved transfered me to another unit! They have shown me respect in the event that has happened. My only regret is that it took longer then I had wished. Im greatful for everyone's time and efforts. I look forward to a much better understanding and communication with each other.     I moved out of ********************* in ********, ** on August 31, 2024. It has over 100 days since I moved out and I still havent gotten my deposit back. I have contacted the building manager, ****** *******, and she said she cant do anything about it cause its the new management company that shes waiting for. They switched companies in June or July of 2024, and I moved out August 31, 2024. That would mean it would be under the new management ********** Kansas Statue *****, 108 it says (c) Upon termination of the tenancy, any security deposit held by the landlord may be applied to the payment of accrued rent and the amount of damages which the landlord has suffered by reason of the tenant's noncompliance with K.S.A. *****,113 and the rental agreement, all as itemized by the landlord in a written notice delivered to the tenant. If the landlord proposes to retain any portion of the security deposit for expenses, damages or other legally allowable charges under the provisions of the rental agreement, other than rent, the landlord shall return the balance of the security deposit to the tenant within 14 days after the determination of the amount of such expenses, damages or other charges, but in no event to exceed 30 days after termination of the tenancy, delivery of possession and demand by the tenant. If the tenant does not make such demand within 30 days after termination of the tenancy, the landlord shall mail that portion of the security deposit due the tenant to the tenant's last-known address.(d) If the landlord fails to comply with subsection (C) of this section, the tenant may recover that portion of the security deposit due together with damages in an amount equal to 1 1/2 the amount wrongfully withheld. Since its been way past 30 days. I would like to get 1 1/2 that was wrongfully withheld from me. The security deposit was $300, but I was never told if I was getting the full amount back or not.

    A few weeks ago, I had to call the police on my next door neighbors because they were fighting. The police came and de-escalated the situation. Somehow those tenants found out it was me who called the police on them and they blame me for their getting evicted. Since then, they have harassed, taunted, and bullied me. I have called the police and informed the manager ********************* about what was happening to me. I showed the police and the manager ****** the multiple harassing texts and ******** posts and even an audio recording of the tenant ***************************** threatening me. The police told me that it didn't constitute harassment, which it clearly did. So the police did nothing to help me and in turn did not substantiate my claim, leading the manager ****** to issue me a lease violation for harassment, when I'm the one who was being harassed. ****** shows an utter lack of concern for what has been happening to me. DJ placed dog excrement on my door mat three different times and I called the police to try to get help and of course those tenants lied, they weren't going to implicate themselves. So since I called the police about the excrement, it has stopped, proving that it was them. I'm the one being issued lease violations for harassment, when I'm the one being harassed. No one will help me. I have suffered mental anguish because of this, I had to start seeing a Therapist again (and you can verify that). I can't eat, I can't sleep over this because I don't know what those disturbed tenants might do. I'm constantly in fear, I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks and Major Depressive Disorder. This ordeal had only made it worse. I just want justice to be served the right way. I'm not a deceitful or vindictive person. Also, just recently there was another incident with another tenant who claims I kicked her dog, but all I did was say "go on get", because her dog was scaring my Beagle. It was in view of the cameras and hopefully they were checked to clear my name.

    She only received a lease violation because of the constant contact with police who continue to not substantiate her claims. We have been in contact with this tenant several times. The police investigate whenever she calls them and are never able to substantiate her claims.

    The only reason the police were not able to substantiate my claims a couple of times, is because every time those angry neighbors would do or say something to me, they would immediately leave so that they wouldn't go to jail. There were a couple of times that the police were able to substantiate my claims. They wrote up police reports for the incidents and the the property manager, ********************* even saw the police reports. But the main issue here, is that *********** does not do her job efficiently because there are several people who live at the apartment complex who violate their lease everyday. By always having unauthorized items outside of their apartments, that's against the rules. ************ chose to ignore it for four years and still chooses to ignore it. People smoke cigarettes inside of their apartments, which is also against the rules. And people are supposed to smoke no closer than 15 feet from the building, which they do anyway. ************ allows those people to constantly get away with things that should result in lease violations. But with me, I don't even do anything wrong, and I get lease violation after lease violation for harassment, when I'm the one who was being harassed. ************ is very unprofessional and rude to me and she plays favorites here. I was trying to protect myself by calling the police when my neighbor threatened to burn down my apartment, but the officer did nothing to help me and ************ gave me yet another lease violation for it. A former neighbor who lived below me, would play her music very loudly, so instead of bothering management with it, I went to the neighbor politely and asked her to turn down her music. That neighbor told ************ and she gave me another lease violation for harassment. Also, that same neighbor told ************ that I yelled at her out my window when she was outside with her dog, but that never happened. The neighbor was not truthful to ************ and she took the neighbors word for it and gave me another lease violation for harassment. Also, there was another neighbor who lived directly across from me and she had a barking dog, who barked all the time and kept me up at night. I complained to ************ about it and she said that she asked the other neighbors if they heard the barking and they said no. So ************ did nothing to help me. She didn't even give the neighbor a warning that her dog is not to be heard barking. I had to ask ************ if she would post letters on everyone's doors, as not to single anyone out, that dogs are not to be heard barking. I should not have had to ask her to do that, she should have done her job and done it without my having to ask. The letter didn't do any good, the neighbor's dog continued to bark. I had to put up with that for two years. Also, I've had to complain to ************ about lit cigarette butts being thrown in the yard, my dog stepped on one and it burned her foot pad. When I texted that to ************, she didn't even respond to my text. I've taken pictures of all the trash on the grounds here constantly and sent them to ************ and she acted like she couldn't care less. The thousands of leaves here are never raked, the trash on the ground has only been picked up twice by the maintenance man. ************ always speaks to me in a very rude way and she's even responded rudely in text messages. She has made things personal with me for some reason.
