Every week they fail to pick up my trash on my scheduled day. When I call about it, they say that I have a different pick up day but I never received any documentation showing a change in the standard pick up day. I did not hire them nor is the service contract in my name. This company was forced on me and everyone else in my town by the city government. Good Afternoon, The resident has been told numerous times that his trash pickup day is Thursday. The resident thinks his trash pickup day should be Wednesday but it is in fact on Thursday and our crews pickup the trash every Thursday from his home.Business Response

The complainant lives in an area where we have a contract with the City to provide service to all residents in the City. The complainant has called the office several times in the last few months stating his trash keeps getting missed on Wednesdays. I have explained to the complainant numerous times that the crew is not missing his trash on Wednesday because his pickup day is Thursday and the crew is collecting his trash on Thursdays. The complainant has also requested revision maps prior to March 31st, 2025 which do not exist. I understand that the complainant would like his trash pickup day to be Wednesday but we cannot change his pickup day from Thursday to Wednesday.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: your chronic failure to provide correct information is not acceptable nor is your lack of written notification of a change in pick up day, most likely a result of your failure to distribute cans in a timely manner. My neighborhood had the trash picked up on May 5th except mine due to me not using a Constable can as I did not have one that morning. This makes it very clear that the original pick up day was Wednesdays. There was absolutely no notification of a change in pick up day. For the first several months my neighborhood put their cans out on Wednesdays and just left them until it was picked up because most people got used to unreliable service which Constable is continuing that tradition.

I bought my house on August 1, 2024. The 65 gallon trash can that came with the house was too small, so I called Constable and asked if I could get a larger one. They said "yes" and put me on a wait list to get a 95 gallon can. I was given several delivery dates, which passed without action. When I called for an update, they must have gotten mad at me. Constable came to my house and took away my 65 gallon trash can, as well as my recycling can which was never part of the discussion, and terminated my trash service. I now have trash bags and recycling piling up in my garage. ******** told me she has no idea why they took my cans, but said maybe they can return my old cans to me sometime next week, however, this company has been offering delivery dates they cannot meet. There is no end in sight to this problem, and I regret calling them to ask for a larger can. ********* told me yesterday she would look into the problem and call me back, but then didn't. Good Morning,
Constable never suspended service for customer. Customer called and said his trash and recycling bins were missing. Constable delivered new bins as requested by customer. Constable has never received any payment for service from customer. Constable receives payment from home owners association. Constable never suspended service and if customer puts out bags of trash for pickup the crew will pick them up.

I am rejecting this response because:My trash and recycling bins did not go "missing". Constable took them away. Leaving bags of household trash outside is not an option. We have coyotes, raccoons and squirrels that will get into the trash and tear the bags apart. Constable can refund the home owners association for my missing trash service

I stopped using this places trash service well over a year ago, and they’ve been trying to charge me for services I never received!!! Even after contacting them via email and via phone call they are still trying to make me pay for a service I never used!Business Response

We started her services and got her first payment 2/25/22 for March-May services. We did not receive another payment after that but also never got a call to request a cancel. We will still create invoices until we get notification that they want to stop or until the balance gets higher, at which point we try to reach out. We did so on March 1, 2023 asking if she was wanting to continue service. That was one of the things she attached so I won't attach it again, but we closed the account as of that date and have not charged her any more. We also aren't trying to pull payments from her. We don't have correct information on file to be able to and haven't had since her initial set up. She claims to have not gotten services since we shut her off in April 2022, but she would not have been on any suspension lists until 6/15/22. She's also claiming that she got a letter but then said "maybe it was a phone call" when we talked to her on 3/15. Her account is closed, we are no longer billing her and have since cleared out the balance on the account as a write off b/c we know that she has no intention of even paying back a portion of it.Customer Answer

Drivers of the trash/recycle trucks have repeatedly driven through my yard. The drivers tend to not turn enough or back up and reset, before going forward and their right side wheels end up going through that portion of my yard near the street. This causes deep ruts and has killed the grass. When this first occurred (April 2022) earlier this year, after contacting them, they agreed to send out a lawn service to make some repairs. The lawn did put down dirt and seed, though the seed they used contained aggressive weeds which infiltrated that part of my yard, to which I had to deal with throughout the summer.
Then it happened again (June 2022), a couple of months later, this time my complaints fell on deaf ears and nothing was done about it. At this time I put a noticeable sign in the corner of that area which seemed to have given the driver(s) a visual aid to at least make an attempt to turn more sharply. Even though this was something I should NOT have to do myself, it prevented from happening, at least for a while until a few weeks ago.
Then a third (Nov 2022) time they drove over the sign and through my yard again. This time the truck must have been full because the ruts are deeper than ever before. Again, I reached out through email/phone. I got in contact with an ****** I believe, only to be told the usual, that she'll get in contact with George and let me know what happens. Well here we are, nearly a month later with no returned phone call or responses to several emails.
I've lived at this address for 10 years, no trash service before this one had ever had the problem of driving through my yard and only since their excuse of "turn over of drivers" did I have this problem with this company before. I understand accidents happen, but this has become a nuisance and it seems to me they're more than willing to only do the least amount of effort to fix the on-going problem with the drivers and actually fixing any repairs they're responsible for.Business Response

We have been in contact with the resident directly via email and phone conversations and are working to get the damages repaired in a way that he agrees with. We are also working on a plan to make sure that this doesn't happen in the future, like putting a marker or something there to make it so that they can't drive there.
