    I have asked Bergfeld Recreation to help repair our playset that we purchased from Bergfeld. Due to COVID, an employee who helped arrange the wood pieces under warranty is no longer working at Bergfeld. I talked to the previous owner’s daughter, ******* ********, today and was told they could not help me repair the playset. Their website states “Great service means more than just meeting your needs until the playground is in the ground. … to serve you long after installation. … test of time for generations to come.” I now have replacement pieces (which was paid to have shipped to Bergfeld from Backyard Adventures) and no one to help repair. Thank you, **** **************

    Hi ****,
    I am so sorry to hear about the issues with your playset. While we apologize for the confusion with the previous employee and scheduling during COVID, Bergfeld Recreation was acquired in 2022 and we are unable to repair this set due to the age of the product. I have spoken with *******, and we are doing our best to find a subcontractor outside of Bergfeld who would be willing to take a look at your playset and see if repairs can be made. We will be in touch should we have any recommendations on subcontractors.

    The playset was essentially rebuilt in 2017 or 2018 when Bergfeld moved it in my yard and replaced many pieces of wood with warranty pieces. At that time I was not made aware of other pieces needed and then found out Backyard Adventures would send those Additional pieces too at no charge other than shipping. Bergfeld has had me all over the place for over 4 years. The set is in good condition. Why would the sale of the business affect existing customers who paid high prices for a quality product?
