    There are TWO Terminix offices that serve my area and Im not sure if it was Columbia or *********** that did my actual service. However, one of the offices came to my condominium and said no - because I was on the second floor.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Unacceptable - corporate location or franchise, the Terminix branded rules, regulations, and policy & procedures - from a legal standpoint - are still upheld. As such, Terminix corporation allows their platform to specifically state termite condominium coverage is available.

    Instead of forwarding this complaint, I hope that corporate will stay involved - before social media (TikTok, ********, Snapchat, and X) get to weigh in on the differences between corporate Terminix brand versus franchise Terminix brand.

    Unacceptable. I sent the Terminix Franchise guidelines and it clearly states that the franchise locations must comply to the branded platform. 
    I have also filed with the ********************************** and the FTC.

    You will be held liable / even through civil suit.

    Terminix Corporate Headquarters has not addressed the corporate responsibility that they have between the relationship with franchises and the Terminix corporate brand.

    Unacceptable.

    I request the Memphis Better Business Bureau to continue the complaint process within the guidelines of membership agreements. The filing with the ********************************** and the *** has absolutely nothing to do with the filing with the Tennessee Better Business Bureau,

    I had Terminix come to do a termite inspection - to potentially sign up for a preventative termite contract. Terminix was unable to offer me a contract because I live on the second floor of my condominium - yet they advertise the service for all residential properties.

    This letter addresses a complaint filed by a customer regarding a request for termite protection on a second-floor condominium. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.

    Our company specializes in subterranean termite treatments, which are soil-based applications designed to create a protective barrier around a structure. Due to the nature of this treatment, it is only applicable to the ground level of a building where direct access to the soil surrounding the foundation is possible.

    The customer in question resides in a second-floor condominium located in the middle of a building. Providing a subterranean termite treatment to a unit in this position is not feasible. A comprehensive, full-building treatment would be necessary to effectively address termite issues in such a structure, as individual units cannot be isolated for this type of soil-based application.

    Our inspector explained this limitation to the customer during the inspection conducted in July. We believed the customer understood that his home did not qualify for our standard subterranean termite treatment given its location. We are surprised by this complaint and sincerely regret any misunderstanding or inconvenience this may have caused.

    We are committed to providing effective and appropriate pest control solutions. However, in this specific case, the structural characteristics of the customer's residence prevent us from offering the requested subterranean termite protection.
