    I made a deposit of $1900 for materials for my deck and agreed to pay $1500 when the project was completed. The builder agreed to start construction on 9/22/25 and be completed by 9/24/25. I have tried to contact him by phone with no answers, just voicemail. I left messages. I have texted twice with no response. I sent an email stating I was starting to feel uneasy about our contract, yes I have a signed contract. I asked for either a start date or a full refund and an answer by close of business today September 29, 2025. I also called him this morning at 10:16 a.m. and received a text saying, call you right back. I have not received a call and its 5 p.m. I had a friend call to try and get a quote for a deck job and he called them back. Also, not knowing if he was sick or what, I called ********** and they stated he is buying materials there on a regular basis.

    I have spoken with Me. Kennedy and he stated he was going to try and start the deck repairs on Tuesday September 30, 2025. I stated that as soon as the job is completed I will remove the complaint.
