I received a notice on Aug 7 in the mail giving me 14 days to resolve my association dues, I call them to make a payment but they stated all payments go thru an automated bill paying system with a $10 fee to make a payment. Thats fine stamps cost a dollar so I mail them a check on Aug 8. The check was finally deposited on aug 18 (Fri) and paid on the 21st (mon). On Sept 5th they placed a lien on my property and on Aug 18, the day they finally got around to processing my payment, they charge me $200. I call them and the lien isnt for my hoa fees its because I owe them $200 for lien administration fees. I have no recourse but this route to hopefully get them to do whats right when my payment sat in their office for a week and then conveniently processed late.

12/23/22 – Assessment letter stating the amount due for 2023, which included the due date of 3/1/2023, late date of 4/1/2023 and subject to a lien if not paid by 6/1/23.

4/27/23 -  A late letter with a $25 charge was sent out, again stating the account is subject to a lien if not paid in full by 6/1/23.

7/19/23 – A letter was mailed stating they had 15 days to pay in full or a lien would be filed and subsequently a lien was filed.

Payment for the assessment and late was received on 8/23/23.

Each of these letters give payment instructions for paying online or mailing payments. Mr. ********* had ample time to make a payment and several notifications of the status of his account. Prior history shows liens and/or demand letters have been sent due to missing payments in 2021 and 2022 as well. Mr. *********’s sub account is also delinquent from 2021-present.

Therefore, the remaining lien fee will not be waived.Mr. ****

I am rejecting this response because:

Yes it’s true I received all the letters stated and I graciously accepted the 25 dollar late fee. The last communication from Treestone properties stated I had 14 days to resolve so I promptly mailed them a payment, if I would’ve used the online bill pay they wanted to charge me 10 dollars, my check sat in their office at least 10 days before it was processed.on the same day a lien was filed so I am at the mercy of their accountant this isn’t fair. Of course they don’t tell you the post date on my payment but I know I had 12 days from the time I mailed it,which is plenty of time for a competent accountant that is on the side of the customer, to cash my check.

      Sincerely,

      *** *********

The problem is that a lot of the homeowners in this area their children fish that's all they do all day long is fish and we found out today that there's been signs put up saying that they can no longer fish in the community lake that we all pay for yearly and some of us monthly This was never voted on It was never told to us that we could vote on it they were just signs posted and that's that All of our children in the neighborhood fish and I'm wondering if that is a violation of the HOA to not only use our funds to pay for the signs but just to simply put them up without any kind of vote given to the people that live in the neighborhood.

The decision to post signs prohibiting fishing is the HOA policy and the decision was made by the Board of Trustees.  We work to fulfill the Board of Trustees direction and uphold their policies. Therefore, this complaint likes with the HOA and not with TreeStone.

I am the Trustee for my parents home at *********************************************************** as well as the adjacent empty lot at *******************. The home and adjacent lot are for sale as my parents have passed away. Multiple potential buyers have asked if the empty lot is buildable and our answer has been "Yes". We confirmed that the lot is buildable with the ************************ but are requesting something in writing from the **** TreeStone Properties. The initial call by our realtor on Monday Feb 27 was returned on Tuesday Feb 28. The person from TreeStone said that No, the lot is not buildable. The Realtor asked why, and the person stated that this was the Board's guidance. Our Realtor asked for something in writing stating why it is not buildable, but we have not received anything to date. I called today, March 2 and received the same response; No it is not buildable, however the person I spoke with could not say why.Since the home and lot are on the market, timing is of the essence. We are requesting that TreeStone provide documentation stating that the residential lot at ************************* is not buildable. If it is not buildable, documentation stating as to why it is not.Thank you,*********************

TreeStone worked with ******************, realtors and the *************** of ********* beginning Feb. 28th (within 24 hours of the first contact) until the issue was resolved on March 4th. We are the property management company and work with the ***** of ********* to process requests.  Overall, the issue was resolved within one week's time.
